here's my take on it. i think it's an accident. if you have the accident once or twice, nobody is to blame, it's an accident. if you keep having the same accident, you are to blame, like he didn't care about the eventual result. kinda like karl malone's elbows.

I agree. Accidental or not, it's a dangerous move, and I don't think Bowen would have to sacrifice any defensive advantage to be more careful about sticking his foot out.

Unless it's a deliberate move that makes the player he's guarding think about it when he takes a jump shot. But if that's the case then the criticism is warranted.

I don't think Bruce is intentionally trying to hurt players--but the fact remains that he does and this is something that I am concerned about. If someone did this to one of our big three, we would be upset as well.
