Rather is from the Houston area (Wharton) and went to Sam Houston State Teachers College and dropped out of Cougar High Law.

He tried some cutesy Ratherisms tonight, but they fell pretty flat. "Kerry will have to kick a 50+ yard field goal in the wind" or some shit like that...
