Now on Drudge...with a grain of salt:

GOP predicts Ohio, Bush win
Tue Nov 02 2004 23:02:04 ET

WASHINGTON, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- White House sources are telling UPI that they believe George W. Bush will win Ohio and be re-elected president of the United States.

At 10:30 p.m., Bush was told by a senior adviser that Ohio would land in the GOP column and put him over the top with at least 274 electoral votes, the sources said.

"We're very upbeat," Bush said as he watched returns in the Yellow Room at the White House with family members -- including his father, former President George H.W. Bush. "I believe I will win."

Bush's comments shortly before 10 p.m. EST reflected rising Republican hopes that Bush will win Florida and remain in contention in Ohio. Winning both those states would almost certainly return him to office.

The comments were also timed to reach voters in states where the polls had not yet closed including Hawaii, Nevada and Oregon. CNN had Bush leading with 193 electoral votes to Sen. John Kerry's 112.

it is very possible that if Alaska and Ohio are the last states W wins, he will still fall short of 270 at 269 electoral votes. However, it would then go into the House where i'm sure they would vote him into office.

But, the senate would stand a chance of voting in Kerry as vp, and that woudl be fucking odd. do not discount how important New Mexico is at the moment as well.

If you guys are getting bored I hightly reccomend watching CBS and soaking up some liberal misery.

These fuckers are stunned...they don't see how their hatred and embracing whackos and character assasinating a sitting president has aliented the majority of the country.

Their bias is so apparent...as they sit there and ponder what's wrong with the country these dumbasses don't realize they can see the problem just by looking in the mirror.

Aggie Hoopsfan

Bush up 20K in Nevada with 99% of precincts reporting.

Up 26K in New Mexico with 98% reporting.

Ohio up 144K with 99% in.

Up 14K with 99% reporting in Iowa.

What does it take to get this shit called?

Aggie Hoopsfan
11-03-2004, 03:32 AM
whott,

Go watch CNN. They are still talking about "if things turn around and Kerry pulls out NM, Nevada, and Iowa, that makes this a 269-269 tie."

:lmao

Marcus Bryant
11-03-2004, 03:34 AM
Oh good a tie. Then it goes to the House and Bush wins.

Aggie Hoopsfan
11-03-2004, 03:35 AM
Yeah but then they could bitch about how the House is biased, or something.

It's just comical because Larry King's like "shit, the lead's getting bigger, let's call this bitch so I can go home and go to bed."

Edit: damn my brain is tired, let's end this people!

Marcus Bryant

I believe Bush's margin of victory is larger in Ohio than Kerry's alleged winning margins in Michigan and Pennsylvania. I'm sure the Democrats would really like the voting process in Philadelphia gone over with a fine toothed comb.

Concede, bitches.

Fox News has US troops on from Iraq, lining up saying they voted for Bush and are glad that he won.

One they talked to was 19, another 21.

Don't they know they're supposed to be against the war?

Marcus Bryant
11-03-2004, 03:47 AM
I'm sure if Kerry was up by 4 million popular votes nationally and 144,000 in Ohio that the media would be so understanding of a reluctance on Bush's part to concede.

Fuck, even Nixon conceded a close presidential election.

Aggie Hoopsfan
11-03-2004, 03:49 AM
BTW, this hasn't made the news seeings all they're talking about is election, but US troops in and around Kandahar commenced and are still carrying out a large scale assault on the city, commanding officer on the ground says no let up until the people of the city give them all the terrorists, including Zarqawi.

Good stuff.

Kerry still has a right to ask of a recount given the provisional ballots and the math not adding up with exit polls.

whottt
11-03-2004, 04:31 AM
Why recount it? The fix was in obviously...Bought paid for and stolen baby. My advice?

Try not to have conflicting conspiracy theories...it creates Republicans.

Marcus Bryant

Kerry has no right for a recount just because he lost.

Four more years.

Aggie Hoopsfan
11-03-2004, 04:38 AM
Fuck the exit polls, they are not accurate dumbass. Polls have a margin of error, from what I've heard of +/- up to 20%. Why should we recount based on that?

Further, nowhere in election law is a recount required because some dipshit liberal gets his panties in a bunch about the exit polls.

Give up.

Aggie Hoopsfan
11-03-2004, 04:40 AM
BTW Dan, the late surge just ain't gonna come from Ohio.

Bush up 134K in Ohio.

Voting Continues in Ohio?

Yep, ABC News just reported at 3 in the morning that people are still lined up and voting in at least TWO precincts in Ohio -- including predominantly college students at one polling area. With cell phones and portable cameras, it's startling to me that we weren't seeing LIVE FOOTAGE of people lined up and voting in the most hotly contested state in the country, but there you are.

Ohio is STILL casting ballots and there are provisional ballots AND overseas ballots AND absentee ballots. I am disconsolate at this moment that it was even close, much less that Kerry is trailing in the popular vote. But is it too much to ask that we count every vote or at least wait until people have stopped voting in Ohio before calling it a day?

Laughably, a Republican lackey just insisted that it was outrageous that Kerry's people wanted to wait until all the votes were counted and claimed the Democrats were gonna try all sorts of legal wrangling and that the American people want their leaders chosen by voters and not by activist judges. Amen, brother, but where the hell were you in 2000?

I've heard the college kids showed up after polls closed, and are making a political statement/scene.

Nice.
