In our "official" awards picks amongst my friends and I, I actually picked Melo to lead the league in scoring this year. I must admit his game is fire right now. He can score from damn near anywhere on the court.

Class of 2003 will probably be remembered as the greatest ever in about 6-7 more years.

Only one to compare to it is 1984: Jordan, Hakeem, Barkley, Stockton, Kevin Willis, Alvin Robertson, Sam Perkins, Otis Thorpe.

1996 is a distant third: Nash, Iverson, Bryant, J O'Neal, Ray Allen, Marbury, Camby, Peja, SAR.

34/8/6/2/1 for Melo tonight.

People have always knocked his passing but us Nuggets fans knew he was a good passer and he would easily match Lebron and Wade if he got the touches they do. He has shown it tonight and its a sign of things to come :smokin

call me biased being an SU fan and all, but I would still have gone
1) Lebron
2) Carmello
3) Wade
4) Bosh
5) Howard

The way I see it Carmello is going to be around for longer and his game will be more dominant than Wade's. Wade will have to get injured eventually with the way he drives to the rack, and his hype is all generated from the playoffs.... Melo doesnt play in the east, its harder to be badass in the playoffs out here
