Mine went out at 3am and miraculously came on as my cell phone alarm was waking me, giving me just enough to time to get ready for work and get out the door before it went out again. I got as far as Blanco/Huebner and the power went out all the way up to Blanco/1604. I'm guessing it's the wind. Anybody else experiencing outages?

I'm not too far from you (You're in Stone Oak?), over at Wilderness Oak/Hardy Oak area and we didn't lose power (That I know of).

There's a really bad low-income-people-moving-into-Stone-Oak-and-stealing-it joke here somewhere, but I'm not going to go there. :angel :lol

I will.

Melissa, check for illegal hookups around your house.

From your place, it'd have to be a really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really long extension cord, though.

I was at the Time Warner sales center at Jones Maltsberger and 410 and it went out twice while I was there. I blamed it on the lady in line next to me though, who was returning TW equipment that got fried when lightning struck her house a couple of weeks ago.

We lost a TV when lightning hit our house about 2 months or so ago. We couldn't devise any way of returning it because we didn't buy the extended warranty from Best Buy. :lol

So now you can get a new one instead!

Man, TV shopping was fun. I'd walk into those stores and I'd be in heaven.

Shopping?

We drove to BB, you walked to the counter, we made fun of Duff working, they loaded the TV in the back of my truck and we left...all in about 10 minutes.

That, my friend, is not shopping.

We lost all our power last night around 3Am also and got it back this morning sometime. We also live in the Blanco/Wilderness Oak area. My daughter ended up being late for school today.

what was up with that power shit?

it flickered in our office a couple times in the 10 minutes I was there and then the lights were all out all along 1604, which was annoying as fuck.

The wind also sucked donkey balls driving out on 10 all day. And 35 this morning from Laredo.

Speaking of power outages, I was at Central Market on Broadway this afternoon right around 1 p.m. when that place seemed to lose a significant portion of its power -- perhaps the store goes to a generator or something, but the lights dimmed significantly, the music turned off, and as I left, some guys were getting briefed on the situation as they walked in.
