We're either going to have to space out the minutes better when we have back to back or bring Barry and Bonner into the game more on the second night for scoring.

Exactly, there's nothing that Fin gives us that Bones and Bonner don't. And the way Bowen has been on D you can say the same about him. Then compound that with the fact that their both old and exhausted, though Fin did play pretty well that game, on B2B's and it was really stupid for Pop not to play fresh legged Bones and Bonner on B2B's.

I love the elation. Folks, do you know what the difference was between tonight and Wednesday? 3 point shooting. That's it. Spurs had 23 fucking turnovers, and Chicago shot 47% and outrebounded us. 3 point shooting. It was 2-17 on Wednesday and 11-25 tonight, an 18 point swing and we won by 17. Shooting well is a great deodorant.

Bones = Brent Barry

Bonner = Matt Bonner... 7ft red-head white guy that shoots 3's... haha, so if you watch, you won't miss him when he plays... Spurs got him this offseason

Tony and Manu sat most (all?) of the fourth quarter. It was good to see the bench guys get some heavy minutes and those two get some rest.

Not really.
Wednesday we played against one of the worst teams in the L and still couldn't score. It could have been just our shot was off (though this very well might have been due to fatigue from the B2B and not playing our prime shooters), but it could also have been we couldn't find good shots. Also, though we had 23 TO's, they had 22. That's what happens when 2 defensive teams go at each other.

Most of the Spurs turnovers I would guess weren't because of Bulls defense. They bobbled the ball out of bounds with no one around them, threw errant passes and travelled all night.

But I'm not complaining, a W is a W.

Good game for the Spurs. We got lots of assists due to made jump shots and 3 pointers. How I wish the same thing happened last game against Charlotte.

Tony used to score 20+pts a game tonight he only had 13 pts but upgraded his stats on assists w/ 8.

is this got something to do with WaltonBuysOffMe "Parker,You're Not Elite, PASS THE BALL".. thread? :D

Tony must have been here surfing taking notes of some fans whining and blah:blah :lol

I think his 13 points probably has to do with only playing 24 minutes :lol

His 8 assists has to do with Pop ripping his ass for not passing in the 3rd Quarter.

I'm happily surprised that Parker had 8 assists. It felt like in the 1st half he was playing one on one everytime.

"Parker had 8 assists"

Making AST is easier when the Spurs shoot 51%, not under 40% like they did for the most the game vs Bobcats.

Baron had 18 AST the other night but the Warriors shot57%.

Tony, I guess with Pop's approval, is turning into an over-dribbling Stevie Francis. Tony certainly had different look on his face last night than against the Bobcats.
