View Full Version : Bonner
Told you guys that he could shoot. Just needs the playing time. He'll be big for the Spurs this year if they let him. He just needed some time to learn the offense. He's even playing better defense than he did in Toronto because of the system and the other players around him.

You've had 6 posts so far, all in threads about James White. When were you telling us about Matt Bonner, again?
In the thread about Bonner, White and Butler playing more. Did you them all?

You just posted once about him. Usually when people make these kinds of threads, they have dozens of posts about that topic.

Bonner seems to be a guy who is programmed to shoot only 3Gs.
FTs or short jumpers are less successful.

I like it that he's not afraid to shoot. Most of the Spurs new perimeter shooters in the past have had to be begged to shoot. Bonner takes the green light and goes with it.

So Bowen without the D.

True, I remember the days of old when TD would pass to the open man out of the double and they would freeze up, and start dribbling or doing nothing. Though I think we solved that problem a few years ago with Manu, Bowen, Horry, and Barry all willing to launch it.

He can shoot 3s well. This we knew already. He was ranked something like 12th last year in 3-Pt. FG shooting right up there with Bruce Bowen.
