i talked with a friend about the same subject and he had this to say:

"But I have totally lost respect for anyone involved with cable news. I mean, fuck, what is wrong with these people? They make their "projections" before people have even finished voting. They put pundits on instead of real reporters. I think they more then anyone have "decided" this election because of their own arrogance and stupidity. Late voters (that were/are still in line I mean) aren't going to want to bother anymore when they hear that their state has already been "called". How the fuck can you even call something when you have less then seventy percent of the vote in? What service does all these projections and simulations (now here's what would happen if he was killed by a barrage of baseball bats) serve to the community? Absolutely none, and in fact its quite the opposite. If there's anyone killing democracy right now, its not our republicans or our democrats. Its the media, and they know it. And they don't care. Even the "leftist" pundits on those networks can keel over and die for all I care. Everyone in cable news now is a horrible, horrible human being."
