Personally, I'm glad the Saints-Bengals are on CBS locally, but it's got to especially suck for Texans fans because KEYE (Austin's CBS) changed to the HOU game this morning.

Raiders' Lamont Jordan helped off field

November 19, 2006

KANSAS CITY, Mo.(AP) -- Oakland running back Lamont Jordan was helped off the field in the first quarter Sunday with an apparent knee injury against the Chiefs.

Jordan, the Raiders' top running back, was injured at the end of a 12-yard run. After being helped to the sideline, he was taken up the tunnel on a motorized card

That was the lamest attempt at sarcasm ever.

Johnny_Blaze_47
11-19-2006, 02:53 PM
That was the lamest attempt at sarcasm ever.

Who said it was sarcasm?

This is just a conspiracy to make me think this is the second half of the game - all these graphics that say "3rd" and stats that just keep piling up on top of what happened before they called the game.

I tell you. CBS-TV, MyFantasyLeague, CBS Sportsline and Yahoo! Sports are all involved in this conspiracy to make me think the second half of Saints-Bengals is going on right now.

And by the way, Jason Campbell just tossed a TD.

scott
11-19-2006, 02:53 PM
That was a little better...

MannyIsGod

MannyIsGod
11-19-2006, 03:12 PM
Well, even with negative points from McNabb, I think I'm going to beat Guru. I think a win today clinches me a round one bye but I'm not completely sure. I'm going to need it to get fully healthy.

I have a 37inch Westinghouse LCD. Its pretty good, but for whatever reason my DVD player doesn't look all that great on it. The cable looks good, and running movies on my Computer through the VGA input looks good too, but my DVD player looks a bit washed out on it.

Its a good TV, but I think I might return it (I only got it a week ago) and get this Pannasonic (http://www2.butterflyphoto.com/shop/product.aspx?sku=TH42PX60U) online instead.

LaMarcus Bryant
11-19-2006, 03:37 PM
I was gonna get a LCD a while ago but didnt want to spend a shitload every month on upgrading my cable to digital with HD capbilities. So i got a 32 inch magnafox tube tv with a digital converter

and somehow we get to pirate digital channels for freeIf you get an LCD with a QAM tuner, then you just plug the cable into it and you can pick up HD signals that aren't encrypted. The Westinghouse has one, but I upgraded to Digital Cable either way because I wanted the other HD channels like ESPN that are encrypted.

I thought about getting a HD tube also because they have great standard def pictures, but they are just too damn big.

MannyIsGod
11-19-2006, 04:11 PM
Yeah. Right now, I think that title is still held by Torry Holt near the end of that first game against SEA.Catch of the year goes to Marvin Harrison in a game earlier this year where he made a spectacular one handed TD grab. It might have been the game against the Redskins.

Now that I think about it, it might have been that Harrison catch against NE (dirk4mvp has it in his sig). The catch where he dragged his feet and rolled over with his hands under the ball.

WTF is up with replays this year? What are these officials watching?
They screwed Arnez Battle out of a TD, too.

I'm no defensive coordinator, but I don't think Aaron Moorehead requires a double-team.

All that said, if you told me Dallas would be -7 coming into the second half, I would be happy.

I don't think it was a designed double team, I think one guy thought there was supposed to be a switch - and the other didn't.

At what point is the ballcarrier deemed down by the touch, though? I always thought he had to be touched while he was down (knee, elbow, etc.).

T Park

doesn't matter.

Dungy didn't challenge...

Cowboy's defense has been smothering to unreal today.

1 mistake, and that was the Wayne TD. Other than that, Peyton has been rushed damn near every throw.

If he's touched on the way down then that counts. Its moot either way. The Colts receivers are dropping more balls today than in any other game this year.

What a game, now Tampa is a very winnable game, then they need to pull out a big one against the Giants to have a real shot. If they win those two, finishing 10-6 is very realistic, maybe even 11-5, but I am not pushing any luck on that big of a win streak.

In my opinion, this was the game to decide the season, if they lost it wouldn't look good for playoff hopes, a big win over Indy should carry on until the Giants game, I hope.
