Did they replace the basket the kings shot on in the 1st half with another one or what?

not on tv, this is really irritating.

But I think that if you can't watch the game, listening to Bill Schoening is the next best thing. He is such a great announcer/commentator.

Agreed. Bill Schoening tells it how it is, and he is so fluid with the commentary.

Love Bill, he does great work. I also enjoyed Jay Howard all those years, although he was not as "polished" as Bill.

During my days in the Air Force, I was stationed in Biloxi, Miss., southwestern Oklahoma, and then Shreveport, La. At each of those faraway locations, I was able to catch WOAI at night and listen to the Spurs beating the snot out of all comers. I still listen to the games right now in New Orleans, it keeps me sane in this crazy place.

Reception's not good tonight, though. I've got the game on ESPN.com though.

Eh, I think he's really just too mindful of adjusting his game to take more jumpers and create the space to take them. He's too much of an instincts guy at the moment, but I guess he'll adjust. I expect to see his numbers get better as he's getting more comfortable taking jumpers. He started off well, from his practice it looked like the debut game, but looks like he's been out of it ever since.

On the other hand, AI has made a living out of shooting 40% from the field and has been an all star every year.

Can't explain that one. It's just a mystery to me.

Per 100 shots he takes, hes makes 5 less than a guard who shoots 45% which is about the average rate. Big deal. Actually, after looking at stats he has shot better than 40% all but 2 years, and those 2 he was injured for a good portion.

Let's not factor in the bail out shots he has to take, pathetic team mates over the years, the ridiculous amount of attention he receives and the fact that some of Philly's gameplan used to be just let Iverson go at the hoop and get the ball up and because of all the attention it opens up offensive rebound lanes for his team mates.

Oh yea, the 7+ assists and 2 steals as well as being perhaps the clutchest player in the league. Yeah, definite non All-Star.

Btw, GO SPURS!

Well, we were only up by ten and missing everything offensively til' Tim came back in.

It's so funny reading these blogs, because they implied we were "raping" the Kings when we had a just a nice cushion of ten points. Like if we're ever behind by only 5 points. we're doomed! But now it looks pretty good. I hope we pour it on.
