Just saw it on FSSW...it wasn't a cheap block either.

It was face to face with Yao going up for the jam and Nate just jumped up and stuffed his azzzzzzzz and left him crying. LMAO.

Amazing.

Oh and this Spurs related because the Rockets are our bitch.

ACK that's so emasculating! :lmao

I thought Yao got hit in the face, but that was just him wincing at such an embarassing play.

The Knicks can be happy with the block, Yao is satisfied enough with the win, period. :lol

Quoting Yao himself, he had been blocked by 5'3" guy, so he's not that impressed whatsoever. :D

"I was blocked by 5'3" guy before, so that's not a record" :elephant

Such a self deprecating guy, can even take a snipe at himself. :lol

Yao's too nice a guy, he's kind of a 7'6 doormat.

a 7'6" doormat who's been kicking butt the whole year. Whatever dude. I'm a Spurs fan, but I can give people credit when its due. Yao is the best center in the league, and it's not really close.

I actually felt sorry for Yao being the whole team last year cuz of Tmac's injury and his shitty team plus that Bad coaching/leadership.

This year though they could pick up where they left off in 2005, but I think Yao's underrated in the public's eyes,(besides his 1 billion national following.) because of his "meek" stigma and his size being more prone to injury.

they give him credit for blockin yao in a losin effort while oka4 gets no credit with 8blocks on a losin team which is probably worster than the knicks roster on paper....

Couldn't find the Nate block on youtube (someone should check tomorrow), but Idid find our Timmah doing some damage to him:

edit: link removed

:D :lol

I wonder who the most-blocked guy in the league is this year? In 2003 and 2004 I think it was Jermaine O'Neal with all his pussy fadeaways. This year it might be Tim or Yao! :lol

If the Spurs would have listened to timvp and selected Nate Robinson in the second round in 2004, imagine how good this team would be.

Besides this block, kid is averaging over 12 points in 23 minutes on 50% shooting. :pctoss

pop would have never allowed him to get past training camp. this team likes atller players unless they play pg and this guy is no pg. devin brown wasnt even tall enough at 6'5". He would have been 3rd on depth like NVE and been trade bait

I hope you're joking, Nate is a good kid but does the dumbest defensive mistakes I have seen in a loooong time.

Yao should have killed himself last night for getting stuffed viciously by a dude 2 feet shorter than him...what a bum.

That has to be embarassing as hell.

Beno fits in the Spurs not only better than Nate, but better than both Francis and Marbury ever would

RuffnReadyOzStyle

Sorry about that. Thought it'd be okay if it was on youtube.

NBA are STUPID about their "rights". Hell, get the footage out there, look after your goddamn fans for once. You can't copy off youtube, and the quality is so poor it's not like you are going to collect youtubes and ignore other NBA product. Their stance on broadcasting snipets of NBA footage makes absolutely NO SENSE.

Except that I love the NBA, I hate the NBA. :lol

So you really think that everything being equal, Pop would go for Beno over Marbury?

Wow.

ShoogarBear

If Pop thought he could coach Marbury, Beno would be traded and Tony would be second-string.

How the hell do you look at yourself in the mirror and not begin to gag and throw up when you see a 7 foot 6 nba center who was just blocked by a 5 foot 8 guard?

How do you do it? My father would have disowned me.

Yao took it like a man. It was big of him to make a joke about himself with the 5'3 remark.

He's a nice guy.

...On the other handd.... it doesn't translate well because he keeps getting dunked all over and blocked.

If he had a chip on his shoulder, he would wreak havoc on the league and make every one pay. How many times have players take up the challenge to own this guy? Because he's known for being timid? Too many times.

Yao has got to be getting clowned nonstop by his teammates, I couldn't believe my eyes Yao is 7'6, and got blocked by a what 5'9 guard it's quite sad. All that height but no balls if he was a little more built he could dominate the league a center. Until that day comes he is nothing but a big weak dummy...GO SPURS GO...

How in the world is getting blocked by a shorter guy = soft? Spud Webb blocked over 100 shots, are all those guys soft?
How can a man who played a year and a half with an infected toe so bad it was bleeding be soft? How can a man who take it to the basket time and time again, regardless of the competition, be soft?
People who called Yao soft are probably the same ones who called David Robinson soft because neither of them are too nice and never screamed and yelled after a dunk.
