Damn he really made everyone his bitch tonight in the 4th!!!!

Here's to hoping he can pull shit out of his ass like that for the rest of the season!!! :toast

Im not talking every game, but if he can do that even semi-consistently, yet another ring will be placed on the fingers of the true dynasty of this NBA era. :king

I'd rather manu to preserve him healthy for the playoffs, he's quite more needed then than in most regular season games.

I agree with him being healthy for the playoffs, but I have a nagging feeling that Manu can't switch this on and off at will. He was playing with abandon the whole 2005 championship and owned the playoffs, so if that's what he need let him do it and keep you fingers crossed that he survives the regular season unharmed.

"It was great to see Manu do all those things we're used to seeing," Barry said. "It can only be a step in the right direction." :smokin

Is it just me, or did the second-half Spurs look like the team we saw win the '05 ring? Inside out with Tony-Duncan, and shooters waiting on the outside and Manu ready to slash and kick...It's just one game, and it was against the Blazers, but with an already good start to the season, isn't it nice to see they can adjust their game at the half and play another style that has worked in the past? I think the current squad is one of the best in the history of the franchise, don't get me wrong, but when the gameplan isn't working and they can figure out a way to switch it up like they did...I'm truly impressed. Putting Bowen on Randolph really slowed Randolph down, which caused the Blazers to make defensive changes...that's what freed up Manu. An overall team effort is what got Manu going. I love it!!!

Fuck the back-to-back "curse"!

Did you guys notice that Manu had a black stocking/bandage on his leg in the fourth quarter of the game? Could this have been the reason for his "Black- Mamba-like" performance in that quarter?????

During the post-game interview with Bill Schoening, Manu said he had been kicked twice in the shin and was wearing the stocking to protect it from further injury. He said it was nothing serious - just causing some pain.
