In the Tim Duncan era, when the Spurs lose key regular season games early in the year, the team usually struggles for the next couple weeks. With a three-game road trip coming up, this could get ugly.
Seattle always plays the Spurs tough. Golden State on the second night of a back-to-back is going to be nearly impossible with the lack of energy the Spurs show in such circumstances. And then the Spurs end the trip at Utah and the best team in the league so far this season.
This is going to be a killer trip. 1-2 is probably par for the course. 2-1 would be nice. 3-0 won't happen.

If the Spurs can beat Utah, 1-2 will be okay.
But I suspect we won't see a lot of Manu.
Bruce may have to come up with some fancy footwork against Ray-Ray.

Bruce needs to step up his offense. Its looked worse this year than it has the past 2.
In regards to the tailspin, I don't think so. This team looks good right now. They have moments where they look bad, but for the most part they look pretty damn solid. I think they'll go at least 2-1 on this trip. Pop seems to coach well when the other team isn't from Dallas.

Par.
Not bad. At least they got the W in Seattle. Golden State on the second night of a back-to-back was an obvious loss. The Jazz dominating the Spurs on the boards isn't a surprise either.
God bless November.

Good call.
Finley needs some time on the pine. The team looks slow and lethargic. If James White has any potential, he might be forced into the mix.

Pop usually doesn't bench shooters for missing open shots. I doubt we've hit James White panic mode, but I've been wrong before.

That Barry guy deserves and can handle a few more minutes....

The Barry guy is getting minutes, but he's not going to play the entire game. With Manu out, Finley is going to play more than any of us want right now. In fairness to him, he's not forcing shots he just can't hit them.

I like it when the Spurs struggle early in the year. Those years usually end in June.

This gives us more areas to work on; maybe Elson will get better in December

Honestly the only real thing I stay concerned with during the regular season is this:
Role players get consistant.
We beat the good teams.
Our playoff seed is comfortable.
We know when playoff time rolls around what the Spurs can do, they sort of morph into super mode a lot of times. The way the talent has spread this season I am not convinced of most teams. Dallas seems to be the only major threat. And now maybe Utah.

it's still early and we've played over half our games on the road and went 7-2 which is a great way to start the season. the best is yet to come.
