In 2003-2004, I used a website called Tradesports.com

Instead of betting on the games, you can buy stock options/futures on different outcomes.

At the middle of the Rodeo Road trip, I put about $750 on the Spurs, and I bought them at 23-1. Then I sold parcels of it off to make up the $750, and sold more each round, and still had about $100 at 23-1.

Made about $4000 on it.

So I'm thinking about doing the same with both Spurs and Mavs.
Right now, they are selling at 19.9 (5-1) for Spurs and 13.9 (7.14-1) Mavs

So why not put $ on both to win the championship.
Got to think that either one at least get into the Finals.

If so, the option will probably sell at around 50. Therefore at least doubling the money.

$1000 on Both.

$5000 if Spurs Win ($3000 profit)
$7000 if Mavs Win ($5000 profit)

The only way to lose any $ is that neither Mavs or Spurs get into the Finals.
You have to think that it's going to be one of them right????

Your thoughts....

Makes sense to me. The chances of the Spurs or Mavs not making the Finals is pretty remote. Right now the biggest challenger is probably the Jazz but they should cool off soon ... then again, the Spurs have never beaten a Jerry Sloan coached team in the playoffs.

Then again, there is no Malone or Stockton.
