I didn't know they were going to wear a new throwback jersey this season, starting this Saturday.

Sports Suncay had a picture of it, and it's a real throwback, not like those tin foil-esque abominations they wore a couple of seasons ago.

They showed a pic of the front of the home jersey. It appears to be the same material as their current unis (small mesh holes). They are grey with black trim and the Spurs is the old Spurs block logo in black with white shadowing. The number is small and off-set, just like the old 70's era jerseys.

Don said the back will not be like the old 73 jersey, something about the name lettering being grey which didn't make sense to me unless it had some sort of outline to distinguish it from the jersey color.

The pic on WOAI looked sort of like this except it had the NBA logo near the top left, with small holes in the material. The number was straight black with no outline or shadowing.

looks more like a phili or washington jersey to me with san antonio word instead

and the grey one, looks fagtastic....

I basically have that silver jersey, it's a Duncan swingman...I guess it was supposed to be the "tin-foily" jersey that they brought back, but on swingman mesh material they don't have it shiny, it's just like a gray mesh.

Actually those that were posted are not it. The ones they will be wearing are not shiny and the name on the back is in grey.

I'm not sure, but the jerseys at SpursFanShop.com don't look like the right jerseys in the pictures. The new ones have grey lettering for the name on the back.

Yeah, I think what Kori posted was a Swingman version that is almost always "meshy" looking. The shorts look different than they did in '03. I don't remember them having the diamond panel, but then again, this is supposed to represent a different year of history, right?
