Strength of schedule?
Um, looks like FL will have played about 7 bowl teams, altho we all know a lot of the bowl bids are a joke.
SC played a bunch of bowlers also.

Why is FL "automatically" out and SC in?

Florida? Please. Their offense is horrid whenever they aren't playing the Western Carolina type teams.

Look at the Way USC has played the last month, since the Oregon State loss, then look at the way Florida has played over the same time frame. Now tell me you don't think USC would stand a better chance against Ohio State than Florida would.

Florida is out because of their Div I-AA win. Now that's not the only reason but it is a huge difference between USC's and Florida's schedule.
