There are never games on ESPN anymore. Or even ESPN2, TNT, TBS... nothing. There's rarely a game on TV ever. I live outside of any team's personal little broadcast crap so I am getting upset.

Why are hardly any games on TV anymore? 10 years ago, there was one on almost every night on national tele.

ESPN usually airs games on Wednesday or Sunday. TNT does it on Thursday. But still if you look at it there are far mor Spurs games televised nationally than other teams

We really don't have that many national broadcasts. I guess people would rather watch LeBron and Kobe choke repeatedly than watch Spurs basketball.

TNT still gives you one or two games every week. I think it's time to step up and buy the League Pass!

NBA is obviously way behind baseball and the nfl..

Small Market Teams don't get much National attention. Unless they have an exiting superstar on the team.
Who would be an exiting superstar? Kevin Garnett? Allen Iverson? Jermaine O'Neal?

Pretty much. They're all on losing teams but it's all about the highlights.

At least it's better than a few years back. Before we got Manu and Tony the Spurs were among the dullest teams in the league, and they were hated for it.

this is true. plus, typically, there aren't a lot of NBA games until after christmas (this was especially true in the mid-90s with NBA on NBC). That Christmas day game usually signaled the beginning of people caring about NBA.

No, no, no... highlight reel kind of superstars could be deemed exciting; Black Mamba's wisdom called for exiting superstars, thus my list.

ESPN=Wednesday, Friday, Sunday
TNT=Thursday
NBATV=Monday, Tuesday, sometimes Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday

I have NBATV and they show games on the nights when TNT, ESPN, etc. aren't showing them.

Yeah, that's annoying. I mean, here in H-town, we naturally get Rockets games, but I don't want to watch them all the time. League Pass was the best thing we could have purchased. Seriously consider looking into it if you can - well worth the price to us.

you're a fucking moron. of course more people wanna see Kobe and Lebron. they are two of the most exciting players in the game. and the Spurs are fairly boring to watch. not many people like watching the spurs, except for Spurs fans, and just because you are a spurs fan, doesnt mean everyone else is. now, obviously that has nothing to do with winning games, because despite being boring, it has brought the Spurs 3 rings. however, this is national entertainment we are talking about. what is going to get higher ratings? seeing the Spurs every thursday night? or seeing big-time rivalries, exciting superstars, and intense games (which also include the spurs from time to time)? any fucking retard would know that.

get league pass. i live in VA and it's a wonderful thing for a spurs fanatic like me!!! also, i think there is some unwritten rule amongst the pro leagues that the NBA takes a back seat to the NFL until after the super bowl.
