When did they change it? I was unaware when they did it. My God...please Jerry Jones, when you build the new stadium, call it Texas Stadium or Tom Landry Field or something. No TXU Stadium bs.

call it Texas Stadium or Tom Landry Field or something

Why, when you have companies falling over themselves to give you money to name your stadium.

You guys talk high and mighty about not "selling out"

but would be the first in line if someone offered money for just paying to name your house.

I don't know if University of Phoenix Stadium is better than the second choice: Pink Taco Field. I liked it when it was Cardinals Stadium, but when you're an NFL Franchise and someone (the largest online accredited university in the nation, to be exact) puts up $30 million dollars for naming rights - sometimes you just gotta take that. I like that at least it keeps the name distinctive - because the Cardinals surely aren't - except for losing.

Yes, "Energy Solutions" the nuclear waste company!

How about "Energy Solutions that produce waste that is radioactive, and thus extremely dangerous to all life, which last hundreds of thousands of years"... oh, wait a minute, that's not really a SOLUTION then is it. :wtf

That's like those thinktanks that call themselves the opposite of what they are...

Oh, wait a minute... sorry - thought I was in the political forum there for a moment! :lmao

Apparently, if the hostile takeover goes through, the US Airways Center (that was America West Arena) will become the Delta Center in Phoenix.

If I had $30 Million Dollars I would change the American Airlines Center in Dallas to the "Mark Cuban is a little bitch" arena. It has a certian ring to it :)

I've heard from a couple of different local sources that Exxon-Mobil plans on paying more for their name to be on the Arlington stadium than Citibank is paying for the Mets new field.
