Kinda scary... no hit, no poke, no nothing. He just left the game with blurry vision in the first quarter and is done for the game. Latest word is they were still examining him in the locker room.
Mavs fans, does this worry you also?

Haha, then why do the Mavs win games when Dirk only scores in the mid teens?
Because they have a team full of options.

Several minutes... as in the rest of a ballgame?? He left at the end of the 1st quarter.

This is ridiculous logic. It's like those people who ignore NFL championships before the Super Bowl came along. Teams like Cleveland and Philadelphia won numerous championships before the Super Bowl was introduced, but everyone conveniently forgets this because they only believe Super Bowls are the only things that count, which is pure bullshit.
It's funny how the young generation always ignores history when it suits their purpose.
Fact is, the Kings organization does have a title whether you like it or not. It is what it is.
I'm sure Maverick fans would pull a 1951 title out of their hat, if they were around then to serve their purpose in an argument like this. Am I right or am I right?

I don't think that's a good example, because Dallas has a separate and independent franchise from San Antonio. Rochester doesn't have an NBA team and it's the same franchise that moved, as far as I know. As for a twenty-year timeline, that seems arbitrary.
On topic, good to know that Nowitzki seems to be ok. That would be a scary thing to have happen.

Why is it ok for you guys to brag about being in the Finals, which technically happened in the past because the Mavs aren't currently in the Finals, to a fan whose team hasn't been in the finals when it's wrong for us to brag about winning three rings (in the past) to you guys, whose team has not won any? Of course they have a title although it's not the *Sacramento* franchise that garnered that achievement. Competing with seven other teams is not quite the same deal as competing with 29 other teams and trying to get out of the toughest division in the league. Imagine if the San Antonio Spurs were bought by Mark Cuban and moved to Dallas. Would you be fine with Cuban touting the three rings that HIS franchise earned?

It doesn't matter whether they are in Rochester, Cincinnati, Kansas City or Sacremento---its still the same franchise---the lineage is very clear; titles and team records go with the franchise---the only exception to that was in the NFL when the Board of Directors declared that the Cleveland Browns titles and records would stay with the new expansion Browns team, rather than moving to Baltimore and becoming part of the Ravens franchise.
Cuban wouldn't be able to buy the Spurs and move them to Dallas unless he first sold the Mavs, AND then the Mavs were either moved to another city of completely ceased operation. Tho I wouldn't like it, he would get to claim the Spurs titles if those criteria were met
