Plus the buzzer beater from Odom to boot.

I shouldn't be enjoying a Lakers game this much.

He hits 11 straight field goals with most of them being jumpers. Damn he can't miss

reminds me of the time he outscored the entire mavs team up until the 3rd quarter
and the time he scored 81 against the raps

funny how he did so well against two of my favorite teams

but GO KOBE (for my fantasy team)

Oh shit. Great performance by Kobe. 52 points on the start of the season. He will have 100 points on the end of it.

In their last two b2b series'...in the 2nd games, the Jazz have lost. The Spurs know this story well.

I'm not a Kobe hater, but the last thing I thought I would see on this board would be Spurs fans rooting for Kobe. :lol

The Jazz shooting stats were much better in losing to the Lakers Lakers than the Jazz stats were in beating the Spurs. The Spurs really sucked.

Spurs are now 4th in WC standings, including being behind the Lakers. Looks like Phil is doing a pretty good job, so far, with a lot less talent than Pop.

Great game by K24, finally we see some explosiveness. His jump shot and decision making is starting to look a lot better. I hate the Jazz, but that team is talented for sure.

The Lakers have also have a very easy opening schedule. Of their first 19 games, 16 are home games at Staples Center (yes, a road game vs the Clippers is a Lakers home game). They'll make the playoffs, but expect them to get knocked down a peg or two when they have to play long stretches of road games to make up for that.

Come to think of it...so does Barry!! :elephant DAMNIT!! YEAHHHHHHHH!!!! Why can't ALL 6'6" ers do that. If you've "got the same size" you'd better be goin for 52 a night!!!! :bang

Ummm, as the Spurs can attest to, home games aren't necessarily easier.

Lakers have beaten some pretty decent teams this season including the Suns, Jazz, Clipps, & Warriors. You look at that team on paper and wonder how the heck they're doing it.

Props to PJ, as much as I hate him, he's doing a pretty good job coaching a young team.

I dont dislike Kobe or Shaq as much as when they were playing together. Kobe is just a great basketball talent. At this point i would take the Lakers over the Mavs anyday. The Mavs dont have anyone to stop Kobe. When do they play each other again? i ought to make a large bet at the bookies now! The Lakers would kill them! And that would be sweet. :downspin:
