Don't curse me, use vulgar language and you might avoid this kind of discussion.

You keep cursing me, using the kind of language you used earlier and I very well may something about why that is wrong.

You know how to avoid this. Don't be rude. Don't gratuitously curse at me.

I might have listened to you, but you lost me with an incorrect citation of The Bible.

If a journalist can get called out for incorrect citations, well, I'm sure the Lord doesn't want you quoting incorrectly.

Also, did you incorrectly cite The Bible?

The verse you quoted is Matthew 12:34, but you know, don't let something like that stop you from steering us towards the Lord.

http://bible.cc/matthew/12-34.htm

You're right, I gave the wrong reference because I was going to start with that verse. Instead, I began earlier.

You probably are unaware of this, but when the original was written, there were no verses. Sorry, no prize.

The really important thing is to apply the content. And that is what you are not doing.

This is my second year here. Formerly, I was known as themanurules.
But, no I haven't had the time to post 20,000 times here like some others.

When people are derisively cursing me, I am going to point out that it is not helpful, inappropriate and frankly just wrong.

I am sure that you don't agree with that. But if they curse me and use vulgar language, I may post that I don't find it appropriate.

It sounds like you don't have the courage of your convictions, else you would have done them in front of the teacher, the principal, your parents, the police and your cellmates. My friend, I have a suggestion for you. If you don't want to hear me tell you things, then perhaps you should take one or both of the following courses:

1) Do not address me if you do not want a response. I wasn't talking to you in this thread, but you decided to insert yourself. When you do that, prepare for responses. Whether you like them or not is irrelevent as is what you think of my character based upon those posts.

2) Feel free to use the ignore function. This strikes me as the best option for someone who lacks the self control to avoid commenting on my posts. This also strikes me as what Angel will eventualy do to your stalkerish type posts.

Have a nice fucking character filled day!

If a journalist can get called out for incorrect citations, well, I'm sure the Lord doesn't want you quoting incorrectly.

First, that is not why you are not following the passage. We both know that.

Second, the original did not and the copies of the Greek New Testament did not have verses per se.

Dude, I dropped it days ago, you dug it back up. You're a damn baby who wants to fire back but only under his rules. There's a reason why you're arguing alone. We have our style of posting and it is what it is. If you dont' like it then as I pointed out, I suggest you use the ignore function but you're not going to get a single person to change their posting style so you can just give up your crusade. Posting biblical verses to back up what your saying is only going to antagonize more people. Acting as though you're on some moral high ground on an internet message board is only going to alienate you even further. Trust me, Mr. Mathematician, you're severely misjudging many of the people you're speaking to in here, and it would be in your benefit to just leave well enough alone.

Look. First, when we disagreed, I didn't engage in namecalling. I disagreed with you. That's why I responded today. There is a difference between disagreeing with a person's opinion and trashing them and cursing them. I try not to do the latter.

I don't know anybody here.
I've got my own set of friends, so if people do or don't like me here, it's all the same.

I've been posting here for a while now and this is probably the first time I even quoted a Bible verse. So, it's not like I am preaching at you all all the time.
And if you all hadn't made explicit vulgar sexual references, then I wouldn't have quoted this time.

I don't pretend to be perfect. I do try not to be insensitive or rude to other people for little or no reason. I also try to differentiate between a person and their viewpoint. If I disagree with somebody, that doesn't mean that they are an idiot and I don't label people as an ....ing ... idiot.

Damn, at what point did these guys go to sleep on the Kings? I thought when Beno turned it over on two possessions in a row, the slide began. But after Vaughn came in and got it going again, Tony made even worse mistakes. The spurs looked more tired than the Kings who played last night.

There were a couple key possessions there (4th) where the Kings ran down the shot clock on defense only to give up a rebound to the Spurs on a lucky bounce. That saved you guys a couple of times. I was impressed with the defense Brad Miller played on Duncan tonight.

Random Thoughts:

Great job by KMartin and Salmons. I like watching the Kings; they are scrappy.

Spurs combination of stagnant offense and non-existent D in stretches almost did them in. Their ball movement sucked from mid 3rdQ onward.

Thank God for Bruce Bowen's threes (and for the Kings doubling off him).

I miss Manu.

It was good to see EWill get some time and look good on the floor.

Barry joined Finley as the bad-shooting shooters tonight.

Why can't Horry hit a free throw now?

How big is Elson's doghouse? I think it's so big by now that he must have a guest doghouse with room for Finley next.

He gives the Spurs another great option (and opponents another thing to worry about) particularly in the fourth.

Plus he is a terrific energetic defender.

But another thing that's killing me in the back of my mind is watching Bowen play 40+ minutes per night because Manu isn't there. It better not come back to haunt the Spurs. Bowen is in great shape. But he's still 35.

On the other hand, it's giving him more opportunities on the offensive end. While Barry and Finley appear to be in a shooting slump, Bowen seems to be getting into a bit of a rhythm.

His man is leaving him to double Tim, so Bowen wide open. I'm glad he's knocking his shots down, but I'd still like him to get in his rhythm for 35 minutes a game not 42. :lol

42 minutes a game makes his defense suffer in the 4th. I don't care how good of shape he's in, it's going to be hard for him to keep chasing after guys and trying to get through screens all game long if he has to keep playing this much.

Get well soon, Manu, get well soon.

Yeah Martin got open for a 3 to tie it up at 90, beating Bowen to a spot, wich Bowen usually gets to easily.

his crappiness is twice what some's better games is.

Ginobili settles the rotations and bench players back down as well.

Also lets the 4th quarter execution get better
