Probably. I've been off work since 6:30 p.m. Last update I had heard was 60-something to 40-something entering the fourth.

The score was so nuts at the half that editors were openly wondering if the Big 12 Championship (which is being staffed) should be pushed off the cover for the Reagan game. BTW, Westlake beat Los Fresnos 45-19, so that's your Regional Championship matchup.

From a personal standpoint, I'm excited to see both Reagan and San Marcos doing so well. San Marcos entered the playoffs 5-5 in a really tight district.

Also, since I just found out a family member is an assistant coach, the Giddings Buffaloes (13-0) in Region III (they play in the Regional Championship next week, too)

It was only a matter of time before 0conner vs. Reagan.....becomes the new gucci bowl.

clark and churchill have lost their luster.

Reagan is flexing its muscle at the right time.......when Lee and Churchill were the "newer schools" in town they won champioships pretty fast.......Reagan may be heading that way.............let the tradition begin.

I dont know, Churchill is still pretty great. But with Fanuzzi and a couple of other key seniors graduating, who knows next year. Gus is stil a very good coach. They only lost to Westlake by 2. I hope Reagan fucks Westlake's shit up.

Except that O'Connor doesn't really draw from a Gucci-type demographic.

Clark v. Churchill became the Gucci Bowl because the neighborhoods that fed those schools were largely filled with the high end of the upper-middle class and wealthy families. It was crap like Clark naming its cougar mascots "Neiman" and "Marcus." That made it a Gucci Bowl.

Reagan has taken some of that from Churchill, but O'Connor is more of a Marshall/Taft split-off.

I don't know that anyone would ever describe Helotes as a "Gucci" society.

That may be true -- it seems to be the natural way of things.

Clark is :td now. Their volleyball team can't even rebuild. O'Connor is only going to get better as a team with Coach Padron as the head coach. I can only wish him the best.

Oh, and with that new school, Brandeis is it? Clark is just going to suffer even more. That's a feeder from Clark and O'Connor right? It disapoints me.

So are the Colombian drug lords going to stay at Clark, or relocate to one of the new schools to follow the money?

The status is unknown at the moment.

Mac won (I think in McAllen) on Friday night. They play San Marcos in the Regional Final this weekend.

Yep. I ened up looking looked up the article myself on mysanantonio.com. Apparently they had a long drive down by 7 with like 2 minutes to go, and won on a 2-point conversion. 48-47 or something.
