Yeah but the Democrats aren't primarily the Rich.

Spurminator

It's somewhat misleading, because it's very likely that all of those Gray counties will eventually be blue. Also, size doesn't reflect density.

But it's still interesting.

Could that possibly be the majority making their voices heard? :lol

That map is very misleading because it assumes that people live evenly throughout the country which we know is not the case. Fact is, almost every big city not in Texas or Utah went for Kerry.

Also, size doesn't reflect density.

That's a given, basically NY and Cali carry the Democrats...Please note those are the wealthiest regions of the country, along with the upper West Coast...Even Austin...with it's rich kid population and Dellionaires, makes a huge statement deep in the heart of Texas.

The only ultra wealthy regions of the country that went Republican were Dallas and some part of Florida.

I disagree that the gray areas will almost totally be blue. We'll see on that.

I'm just judging by the 2000 map... I noticed that most of the counties that are gray were blue in 2000. Obviously some of those may change, but it's likely that most will stay the same.

Then why post a obviously flawed map? If you want a real picture of the country go to MSNBC and look at their Java-script map which shows a actual breakdown of voters based on party.

There probably hasn't been much change in that map between 2000 & 2004.

Also, I'd say that "hispanics" have been in Texas en force for a few centuries now.

Bexar county is RED.

Houston is chocked full of minorities.

Harris county is RED.

The party in need of God's help is the party of outdated and racist ideas - the Democratic party. Unfortunately for them, God doesnt seem to help the godless very often.

My job has been here for years and will continue to be here. You can't really restructure this job all that well.

On top of that, my company had gone from $400M in rev in 1992 to $5.5B in rev last year. We are projected to grow to $11B by 2008. My future is completely in my hands.

We are publicly traded.

We are up around 20% in the last 3 months.

Both are publicly traded, one is based in San Antonio.

The map Whottt posted is not misleading what so ever. It can be interpreted wrong, but that is a totally different thing. It represents voting based on a per county basis. What it shows is very interesting. It allows one to see exactly where each candidate got their votes from.

Go ahead and mortgage your ass off and when W outsources your job to India,

I just got through interview for the world's largest tech consulting firm. Outsourcing is within two years of its peak in 2007, with a whopping 400,000 jobs outsourced to Asia.

There is already movement afoot to bring those jobs back to America, by some people who instead of feeling sorry for themselves and fellow Americans and crying about it decided to restructure things and attack the problem head on in the IT sector.

Try again.

counties won

Bush 3.28 million - Kerry 741,000

Population (2003) of
counties won

Bush 150.9 million - Kerry 103.6 million

Density schmensity.
