Manu returning tonight against Golden State
Manu Ginobili will play tonight against Golden State, but won't start.
Ginobili worked out for Spurs coach Gregg Popovich after Sunday's practice and again Monday morning. Popovich said he isn't 100 percent, but is close enough to play.
Ginobili hasn't played since bruising his lower back near the end of the third quarter of the Spurs' Nov. 24 loss to Golden State.
Warriors guard Jason Richardson, who scored a season-high 26 points against the Spurs last week, didn't accompany the team on its trip to Texas. His left knee, which he had surgery on in August, had been bothering him the past week.
