thoughts:
A&M's first big test. lsu has rebounded from their loss and is playing some good ball led by Glenn "Big Baby" Davis. while A&M has been rolling along winning every game by double digits.

prediction:
A&M 63
lsu 58

AK and JJ will have Big Baby crying after the game.

Aggies 71

As long as we close out on buzzer beating 35 foot 3 pt attempts we should be fine.

A&M 2006
LSU 52

LOL!

i'd love to beat lsu's ass by double digits. i just don't see that happening b/c its @ lsu...otherwise i'd be right on board with a 12-15 point beating.

P.S. OSU won toinght and are now 10-0 *Cue Tayna Roberts* "Can you say Big XII Champs baby!"

Where did OSU play tonight, *poser*?

Acie didn't play well tonight either. Oh well, just going to have to go win at UCLA Saturday...

1369: It's pretty easy to be 10-0 when you don't play anyone in the Top 20 and have been on the road twice. I'm sure Texas A&M Corpus Christi gave you your moneys worth. Beat Pittsburgh, or atleast play them close, and then go 5-0 to start out conference play (Baylor, at KU, at NU, Texas, at A&M) - Then start talking about being Big 12 Champions.

JGW - A&M is getting whooped in the second half.

Maybeso they played Syracuse at the Jimmy V classic?

All bullshit aside, does A&M really have that many players they travel with? That's gotta be a typo, right?

OSU has been on the raod three times thankyouverymuch.

And the Islanders are an up and coming program, or did you just so happen to *ahem* miss coach Suttons post game presser?

My apologies then. Still, it's damned silly to proclaim anything before Conference season starts. As I said, you have 5 decent-tough games to start Conference out. Win those 5, then start the smack talk.

Of course it is, of course they do, and haven't really played anyone yet. Preseason BB is a farce, and in OSU's case, at least they're not running the same schedule when I was there with St. Mary's Aussie school for unwed mothers and such (although Fla. Atlantic is a close 2nd).

I'm till pissed that my whopping $50 vbookie went to the Ags, I thought they would win actually.

I forgot that Big Baby can throw his fat into everyone but only Joseph Jones gets called for fouls - and terrible call on that intentional foul because he had all ball and Big Labia started wimping out on the ground - his NBA career will be like PJ Tucker's... non-existant

We never said Reggie would make it - in fact, most of us hoped his ego would go down a few notches

The officiating was what I expected in Baton Rouge, and that is pretty one sided, but still the Aggies looked timid and played a poor game. Hopefully, Billy will work them good this week and they can play Aggie BBall on Sat.

Yeah, I had to start drinking too after the 3rd blocking foul on a Big Baby drive, realizing that this was going to be a long night.

Actually... OSU played Cuse in NYC. Still a 'home' game for them. The crowd was overwhlemingly Cuse fans.

OSU almost blew it. We have the talent to play with anyone in the nation. We also have the turnovers to lose to anyone. I will say that we looked better than I had thought. Now we have to go to Tenn and play there then play Pitt. Brutal.

Was that the final score? Damn, I shoulda posted my prediction. My first thought was LSU by 12. I'm thinking UCLA wins by 18.

Actually, on this board some ags thought Reg would have a better NFL career than VY.

i am one of those, but it doesn't look like he will get a chance to show it. btw, vyoung is having a decent rookie year so far but i don't expect him to get much better than he is right now. defenses will adjust to him and he will be forced to win games with his arm...he completes under 50% of his passes and throws a lot of pics per attempts.

so your man chow can't teach him anything? i say leinart can't get any better, defenses will adjust to him and he will have to win games from his ass because he won't ever have a line to protect him.

if Arizona does not get a line that may be, but Leinart won't fail for his own shortcomings.

I never thought Reggie would have a good career because his ego would never allow him to make the shift from QB to WR... he has all the physical abilities in the world to be a great receiver in the NFL, but unless he puts his whole heart into it - he'll be just as he was in college: all potential and no delivery.

A rook VY is but one with more W's than L's AND, Fish & Chow don't seem to mind that right now VY uses his best weapon(legs) to compliment his still maturing lesser weapon(arm).

VY will have at the very least a pretty good NFL career.
He will have more W's than L's & should do so in the playoffs as well.

One thing people seem to forget is that Vick is trying to get things done with his arm to try & make think he is a legit QB.
VY, Fish & Chow are smart enough to realize that if you have a weapon like VY's legs, use them.
I think VY will one day be a QB that is on a Super Bowl winning team.

Mr Dio

Oh yeah, VY has done the past 2 wks what he did his college career.

TAKE OVER & WIN.
