I don't think the Bobcats can play at this level for the whole game. Just a matter of time before Pop finds a weakness and takes advantage of their defense. We are getting everything we want on offense, we just need to limit the turnovers.

Damn, that is embarrassing. I sure hope they were difficult dunks. When a 6'8'' whiteboy who doesnt play basketball can do something Duncan cannot, the Spurs truly have a problem.

"weird release on his shots"

shots, in a very wide definition of the term. Many are more like wild tosses, random shot-puts, knuckle-balls, shoves ball in general direction of the backboard.

i missed most the game
can someone tell me how Oberto and Herman played tonight?

Oberto had a solid game. The only time Fab had trouble on D was early when the Bobcats started the game small with Gerald Wallace playing the PF. Fab had a couple of nice plays inside where he went to the open space and scored. He's actually improved his FT shooting stroke. It's not so flat any more.

Herrmann didn't look very good on defense, especially when trying to defend Manu out on the floor. He did hit a couple of nice 3's from the right wing, one of them off a ball fake and one that was well-contested.

Are these blowouts good for a team because of the extra rest for starters or do they cause a team to lose their edge and hurt them the next time they are challenged?

Good question... I think in regards to the Spurs it hurts them (which is probably true that they could coast if Dallas wasnt right there).... they all get big ass fucking heads and think they can coast the next game.... so it hurts them. This all comes down to the coach though IMHO, If I was Pop Id be out there literally beating the shit out of them with a freaking whip if the team gave any inclanation that they think they can coast the next game, they are SOOO much better then what they have shown, the Golden State game is an indication of what the Spurs are capable of if they just buckle down and fucking play the game.

Yeah, games where they start off sloppy and fall behind or just look lethargic for 3 1/2 quarters really piss me off. I like when they come out and play like the Spurs we all know and love. This team is too good to let other teams "think" they are as good as the Spurs.
