BS foul call on Marion sets Kidd up for a three point play and a chance to tie it at 157 and send it to triple OT :lmao

Always those damn Suns games :lol . I caught Nash's clutch 3 to send it into the first overtime. It was NASHTY!

They should have aired that game, not this snoozefest that is the Dallas Detroit game. Though props to Detroit for taking control early.

tied game again ... 157 apiece!

Oh hell no. This needs to go to 4-5 overtimes, however long it takes to get to 200.

lol oh no 14 seconds left, a play for a two or three. Defnitely they must be tired so they're gonna go for a 3.

Annnnnnnnnnnnnd Jason Kidd screws it up. Turnover.

What the fuck is Barbosa doing? If he passes it ahead to his guys they've got an easy dunk. Dumbass.

Damn I WANT MORE OVERTIMES! Kidd looks tired.

Kidd goes from hero to goat.

Nice save by Barbosa on that inbounds pass or this game could've went to triple OT.

Heh heh I'd hate to be a nets fan and a Kidd backer. That was a terrible TO!

I don't get it. They tried to give the ball to Kidd every time and let him win it while Carter stood on the side. And of course Kidd missed every jumper he took in double OT, dude is too old.

Suns won 161-157, incredible. I really wish they showed that game.

Uhh... Carter fouled out. Kidd hit a couple in the overtimes but ran out of steam. Nets just don't have the weapon depth Phoenix does.

Amazing offensive effeciency fueled by jaw-dropping defensive apathy. For every player that was simply hitting everything (Kidd, Bell), there were two players who simply took what the defense gave... and gave... and gave... and gave... and gave... and, well, you get the point.

Uhh... Carter fouled out.

Though that foul was smart at the time, by putting Diaw at the line in a three point game, it eventually nipped the Nets in the bud as Nash was able to hit the three that sent it to OT.

Fouling there was smart, but having Carter in at the moment wasn't. Antoine Wright can foul just as well as he can.

Sorry, not Kidd, I meant Jefferson. He was still hitting in double OT but we were treated to the Jason Kidd brick and turnoverfest of 2006.

Aggie Hoopsfan

And it was classic when they let Diaw go one on one with Kidd. He just backed him all the way to the rim and shot up over Kidd. :lol

Hey guys! VINCE CARTER FOULED OUT IN REGULATION!!!

Yeah, covered and then readdressed.

The game started with each team at least trying to defend, but several players still hit tons of shots. After the half, it was like each team just said "the hell with it" and attempted to outshoot the other. By the time the overtime periods had rolled around, the mindsets and physical ability to defend were no longer there. Only stops that were made were seemingly from only careless passes.

The best game I've seen all year - amazing... To see Dallas lose by 10 at home by being pussies made the night even better. Despite the porous defenses on both ends, there were some amazing (contested) shots being hit out there that just made this game an incredible sight.

This would have been the perfect week if Big Faggy down in Baton Rouge wasn't allowed to foul out our whole team while Douchey Mcgee (Brady) bitched about every clean play by Bryan Davis.

Barbosa, like Acie Law needs to give it up earlier when they have numbers on those breaks.

Doesn't the NBA have a rule where a player being fouled from behind in transition gets sent to the FT line for one shot, then his team awarded the ball? It appeared to me that if such a rule exists, then said play was deserving. Barbosa was clearly held by Jefferson from the side as Barbosa had a clear path to the basket.

Isn't it called a "clear path to the basket" foul?

I figure he was trying for this, but overall, I agree that he should have passed the ball for the easy lay-up.

That's a good point... I hadn't thought of that yet - I could consult my recording of it to make sure. I actually thought that earlier in the game (probably 2nd quarter) when Barbosa was grabbed underneath the hoop from behind by Marcus Williams that it should have been a clear-path foul because he was way ahead of everyone else and was slowing down for a layup before Williams grabbed both his arms and prevented even a shot. They've actually changed the rule this year, so it is 2 shots and the ball instead of just 1 and the ball.

And is anyone else sick of Mikki Moore and his fake toughness/extreme acting routine?
