First one I'll be able to watch this year!
Of course, it conflicts with "Adult Swim", so I'll be flipping channels like a maniac!

Well, I don't get My 35 OR hidef, but my boss does and he's a Lakers' fan (and yes he's really annoying about it :lol) and we're always talking shit to each other about basketball, so tonight I'm bringing chips and salsa over to his house to watch the game on his big-ass plasma. (And it's not what you're thinking... his wife and four kids will be there.)

my35 broadcasting sucks....

That channel makes it look as if the game was 10 years old.Their digital feed is actually pretty clean, but Time Warner doesn't carry that feed. If you can get 35-1 OTA though, its a much better picture than what you see on Time Warner.

I know a couple of peeps with sat TV and their feed sucks as well. Your OTA solution may be the best of all worlds for this channel.

I hate watching the games on MY 35.

Have you also noticed it takes them like forty five seconds to change the score when a basket is scored. WTF?

Kori's local, so if she says that it's "on", she means locally. From what I understand, the NBAtv games that are shown in HD more or less "preempt" the INHD programming, and won't show on the electronic guide.

Well maybe this is a special occasion, but i live in SA and every Nbatv spurs game ive ever looked for has been blacked out. Also, the inhd nba games always show up on my guide. So who knows, maybe you are right, but why would the NBA blackout regulations change for just one game?

MannyIsGod
12-10-2006, 05:27 PM
INHD games always show up on my guide too, and the Spurs game is absent from there tonight. I'm going to be very disappointed if its blacked out. I hate Time Warner.

It's showing up on INHD2 and FSNHD on my online tv guide (titantv). Not sure how accurate that is.

Well, damn, maybe it is national, and blacked out local. That sucks. Apologies, Braedon. I'm just wondering why TWC blacks out only local game HD feeds? Do they think that if we can't get it in HD, we're going to jump on a jet for LA?

Deeemster
12-10-2006, 05:34 PM
Also the online Time warner guide is showing on those two channels (twc-sa.com)

MannyIsGod
12-10-2006, 05:44 PM
You're right. The online guide has it on INHD2. I really hope thats the case, because I really want to see a damn game in HD.

from what i understand its so local stations wont lose their ratings from people watching nbatv brodcasts

I didn't know there was any blackouts for this.

It shows in my TW guide as coming on channel 161.

It shows in my DirecTV guide as coming on channel 95 and 96.

The usual rule is no League Pass or NBA-TV broadcasts of local games. I've never seen a Wiz game on either. Have you ever seen a Spurs game on NBA-TV before?

GINNNNNNNNNNNNOBILI

Aren't they usually blacked out when they are on NBATV?

Yes.

I know that the local games aren't on League Pass. But it doesn't make sense that they'd be blacked out on NBATV. To me, that would be like blacking out games that are on ESPN if they are also on local TV. :lol

If it's blacked out, I'm going to complain to someone for the future.

MannyIsGod
12-10-2006, 09:01 PM
Well, I really hope its not blacked out. My guide isn't showing it.

MannyIsGod

INHD2 shows some wine shows and some other random crap, but not the game.

MannyIsGod

INHD2 is showing the pregame stuff so hopefully the game comes through.

GINNNNNNNNNNNNOBILI

I think NBATV only broadcasts the game if its the local coverage, but tonight i guess it's the Lakers broadcast that is HD

We really should be able to watch it. Local TV crap broadcast shouldn't black out national HD games.
