It's weird. Houston games are almost never in HD.

Look on the bright side, Manny...you can see the Broncos get smacked around in HD during the afternoon game.

Half of the CBS games are never in HD. They probably don't have enough equipment, which is sad.

Jason Campbell looking good so far against the Eagles. If they start him at the begining of the year, the Redskins make the playoffs.

As am I. I really want to try to log the game and watch it as if I were writing on deadline. I need the practice.

Why go for it on 4th & 10 so early in the game?
Not only did the Jags turn the ball over on downs, they set the Geldings up with great field position, then get a pass interference call go against them on the first play after they gave up possession!

I'm always going to argue this.

The marketing would have been outstanding and you could have used Carr to get a draft pick or two to help bolster the line.

HAHHAA, even I loved that ending. Way to stick it to the hometown. I have said it before and I will say it again.. I feel SO sorry for Texans fans. Their team is a debacle and their FO is inept. And yet the fans show up every week and sell the place out. Gotta admire that loyalty. Or that ability to spend that much money to go and drink your sorrows away.

Eh, I may have spoken too soon but I still don't see them winning this game. They still gotta score at least 2 more times AND stop the Chargers. Some holes are too big to dig yourself out of and 25 pts was a big one. We will see. I can admit when I am wrong unlike most on here.

MannyIsGod

Broncos not out of this game. If the D holds up Cutler could be a hero.

Melmart1
12-10-2006, 06:35 PM
8pts is tricky... if you can shut out the Chargers from here on out. Easier said than done. I still think Chargers take this. LT looked pissed on the sideline and if I were Denver I would be very scared of a motivated LT.

But I admit, Cutler looks pretty good out there. Like night and day. I still don't think this was a smart move for THIS season... but if this half isn't a flash in the pan, the future bodes well for Denver at the QB position.

I don't think this move was for this year. With Plummer the Broncos would not of made it to the Super Bowl. So why not let the kid get his lumps this year and have a offseason to get ready for next year.

Melmart1
12-10-2006, 06:44 PM
I know it wasn't for this year... but doing it puts this season in jeopardy, especially in the AFC. I know it was for the future but it could be at the detriment of this season.

12-10-2006, 07:00 PM
I give the Denver defense credit.. held them to FG's the last two scores. I know there is plenty of time left but I don't see it happening. But they fought and didn't roll over and made it an interesting game.

MannyIsGod

As much as it hurts. I am sold on the Chargers as the best team in the NFL. At this point. I don't see a team in the AFC that can beat them if the Chargers play decent.

12-10-2006, 07:19 PM
Well I knew the Chargers would win but I didnt think it would be by this much.

Congrats to LT, helluva record right there. Congrats also to the Chargers for clinching.

Cutler was great in for about 18 minutes this half. Too bad there are 30 minutes in a half. But it shows his potential. I just wonder where the Broncs stand this season. Are they prepared to fight for their playoff lives behind the rook?
