Clips announcers have some good stuff tonight.

They said that Chip was running a drill the other day where he had the Spurs shooting 100 threes after practice.

Brent made 94.

Davis mid-post to Singleton out of the double top of key, swish.

Finley to Bonner for three at top, no good.

Clipps miss from 3.

Spurs pass to Elson in post then back out and around the horn to Barry in corner, 3!!!

Paul Davis hits long jumper from the top. 97-77

Butler posting up and ball is stolen by helping Daniel Ewing.

Clips announcers have some good stuff tonight.

They said that Chip was running a drill the other day where he had the Spurs shooting 100 threes after practice.

Brent made 94.

That 3-point drill goes like this:

6 shots (from a rack) at each of the five spots on the floor, then repeat through the five spots again = 60.

Then one shot from each of the five spots on the floor. But you run to the next spot and someone throws you the ball and you catch and shoot, then run to the next, etc. Repeat through the five spots on the floor 4 times = 20.

Then they add a little more running between the spots and you go through the five spots 4 times = 20.

For a total of 100 shots.

Brent holds the record with 94 made.

Yeah, keep that bitch out of the three point shootout.

The reason I know about the drill is because Don Harris and David Chancellor were supposed to go do it at the practice facility last week for that "It's not that tough!" segment they have on the news. I don't know if they aired it yet.

Butler pulls chair on Davis but he awkwardly scores anyway.

Butler posts and back to Beno around to Bonner baseline turns and hook shot good!

Livingston baseline j good.

99-81

Butler 360 spin move jumper from left side no good off back of rim.

Ewing drives and blocked by Bonner, uptempo layup by Fin. 101-81.

Minute left.

Ewing short for 3.

Beno calls out play and feeds Butler deep for a layup!

Davis misses long shot from top. Beno dribbles out the clock.

Game over 103-81. Spurs shoot 52%

Beno did a good job padding his assists and rebounding numbers in the 4th.

Manu and Tony played great together today.

Brent is just simply on fire.

From what I understand, they all do it when they do it. But it's not a common drill or anything. Keep in mind, the practice facility has two full courts. So four players can do it at once.

Only excitement for Clippers fans was the fan who made a half-court shot at the break!!!

Brent is just simply on fire.

He had some sick shooting percentages his last years at Seattle. It looks like he's right back in his comfort zone. It's crazy.

Was Horry out because of his eye? or just the night off?

I heard Bill Schoening say something about back spasms and I got the impression he was talking about Horry. I'm not positive on that though.

Is it the new ball that is causing Finley so many issues?

I think so ; I remember game 6 vs Dallas, he couldn't miss a shot

Roster moves: Backup point guard Jacque Vaughn remained at the Spurs' hotel Monday night after becoming ill with either food poisoning or flu-like symptoms. The team wasn't flying back home until this morning.

Popovich also put Horry on the inactive list to give him some rest on the second night of a back-to-back. Jackie Butler took Horry's place on the active roster.

wow you go to europe and you lose all connection with the team :lol

Finley had a good game at the last home game efore the road trip, he has one ad game again, and everyone wants to get rid of him? Typical knee jerk Spurstalk idiocy.

Good to see the thin one having another good night, hope the switch doesn't screw up his new found confidence.

What were Elson's numers?
