My son (drums) and his friend (guitar, with amp) are butchering every Black Sabbath song known to man up in his room... :music

Did they put water in their mouth and gargle out the words "I AM IRON MAN"?

:lol

Actually, they don't sound too bad as they both take lesson.

I don't think my dog is too happy.

I've been there. You might think they don't sound too bad but sometimes the neighbors don't hear it quite the same way. :lol

Poor Shelly! instead of Poor Mookie!

My daughter plays her guitar in the house all the time. I don't see the big deal. I love hearing her play. At least I know I'm getting something back for the lessons I pay for. But whoever said you're a cool mom, Shelly, was right. I don't know if I could handle the drums.

If he closes his door, it's not bad. That, and he actually plays beats instead of banging. I've been informed that a jam session will be occurring tomorrow and Wed. Considering that the drum set isn't portable, I guess I have no choice on being the cool mom.

Party in da house!

Can he play "Clint Eastwood" on his drums?

Today's jam session has been brought to you by:

AC/DC, GNR, Led Zeppelin, and possibly some original stuff. I'm waiting for the day they make it through a whole song.

It happens... They do eventually start making it all the way through the songs. :lol And I spoke to soon. I, the idiot that I am, went out and bought my daughter a new VOX amp for her guitar for Christmas. Now what I used to love listening to has been raised to a "whole... notha... level". I'm now buying Aleve in bulk.

You're still the cool mom. I'm just the stressed, deaf mom.:toast
