If I am not mistaken the Rockets declined to pick up his option for next season which should make him an unrestricted free agent next summer. Seeing as how there are currently two Slovenes on the Spurs why couldn't there be a 3rd? The SF spot is currently fairly open for the Spurs. Just a thought.

Nachbar has a full set of offensive weapons, he's long for a SF, fast for his height, he can penetrate, hit jumpers and he's good from the three point range. However i think his defense must be pretty bad otherwise the Rockets would've used him more, so i don't see the Spurs picking him up.

Just a thought. If this would happen our government would have to think very hard about opening a Slovenian Embassy in San Antonio.
I would immediately apply for a job there http://spurstalk.com/forums/images/smilies/smieyebrow.gif

or at least a Slovenian consulate. Slomo....you could be the official "liaison of Sport" and have your government pay for you to have season tickets! :)

He'd be the yan to Bowen/Lint's yin. Pretty versatile on O. Has he grown an inch or two since being drafted?

i think next year is going to be a real hearbreaker if we dont trade rose, you either lose Devin Brown, wait for Luis Scola another year, or pick up a free agent, pick your poison

When you talk about another Slovenians in a NBA everyone forget Primož Brezec from Bobcats. This year he plays outstanding, preseason and this first two games. He shows a real performance in Bobcats. I think he can play in SA squad for center position, he can rotate with RAsho. He is even bigger and stronger (what is not so hard) and younger then Rasho. Think about him, but i think his price after this season will be to higher for spurs salary cup.

Boštjan Nahcbar is also a good player who didnt get to much chance to show all his talent. He is good shooter and he move very good for his height. But he is not so good in defense, but if he get some more strenght he can improve his weaknes. His is material for SA.

And not forget about laker Saša Vujačič, a tall playmeaker which defense is good and playmaking ability is a also good. He is very young and if he will be under Pops manegment he will get a chance and improve his game. Now with Rudy-T he has no chache for that. Rudy dont give international players too much chance!

And than we can have a slovenian starting five http://www.michael-fitz.de/smile/froehlich/jump2.gif

I'm pretty sure he go an extension from Charlotte, but Brezec was my choice for a breakout player this year. Bernie assembled a great frontline out of nothing.
