Romo for pro-bowl after 8 games?
Nice system. :td
MosesGuthrie

Actually the NFL has the best system, IMO.
Its 1/3 the fans, 1/3 the coaches and 1/3 the players.

I agree on both.

Roy Williams blows more coverages than any other safety around.

Roy does blow coverages every now a then (alot of safteys do), but you guys fail to mention he's one of the better runstoppers in the league. I say he goes, but not as a starter.
I'm prepared to be roasted for this... T.O. (despite his antics) should be a Pro Bowler. (based on his #'s alone)
Why is Deangelo Hall in the Pro Bowl? Please explain that.
That's Newman's spot
LEONARD

Romo is borderline...but who has been more impressive in the NFC??
Eli, Favre, Kitna, Vick... :dizzy
Tiki?? Westbrook should've made it...11 TD's vs 2 and similar total yds...
Boldin??? How about TO, Roy Williams, Colston, or DJax?

Tiki is in there because its his last year. Good to see Romo there.

i wonder if a raider made the pro bowl... maybe shane lechler or janikowski?

Saints represent, nice. Brees is the best QB in the league right now, by that i mean he is playing the best, imo. i still hold the best QB is Palmer.

Tom Brady. Rings are what counts in greatness at the QB position.

I see your homerism carries over from college to the NFL. You sir, are unintelligent for putting Palmer over Manning.

yea, i agree. Newman should be in, Williams should be out. Newman IMO is one of the most underrated corners in the league. he is one of the few shutdown corners in the league.

Am I wrong in thinking that Josh Brown should be the kicker and not Robbie Gould? I don't think Gould has hit consistently for the last three games.

Vick should be in ahead of Romo, IMO.
GINNNNNNNNNNNNOBILI

Romo deserved it.
He has the #2 QB rating in the entire league
Vick and McNabb's team have both under-achieved this year
MosesGuthrie
12-20-2006, 09:53 AM
Romo: 10 games (8 starts), 2440yds, 16td's, 10int, 98.4 rating
Vick: 14 games (14 starts), 2284yds, 19td, 11int, 77.9 rating
Obviously Vick is a better runner and I would even say a better athlete, Romo right now is the better at his position which is what he was chosen for.

He's also one hell of a tackler for a corner...
McNabb got hurt, but he played in more games than Romo did. Why not McNabb?
Maybe because he can't play in the game?
kskonn
12-20-2006, 01:17 PM
McNabb got hurt, but he played in more games than Romo did. Why not McNabb?
TWO reasons.
1st) he has not been playing so people probably forgot about him in the stretch run of the voting.
2nd) He would not be able to play anyway and would have therefore been replaced by romo.
so either way you look at it he would not have been able to go.

WTF is with all the Romo haters? The dude is freakin awesome, maybe not Peyton or Brady, but is damn good for the Cowboys ... Fully deserves to be in the Pro Bowl, especially considering he hasn't even played the full season and has awesome stats for the games he has played.

Obviously Vick is a better runner and I would even say a better athlete, Romo right now is the better at his position which is what he was chosen for.Ok, you don't even THINK to list the rushing yards as if they are completely irrelevant. You also post the stats just as if they tell the entire story. Vick doesn't have the offense Romo has, either.
Vick deserves it more than Romo. Vick gets more hate than any other QB in the league, its amazing.

umm, what has Manning's teams ever won? Manning has not played THAT well in the playoffs...and going into last week Palmer was the #1 passer in the league.

I detect hostility....its only a post.
How do you know what I am thinking? That is why I mentioned he was a better runner and athlete, I do think its relevant.
Vick deserves it more than Romo.
In your opinion...doesn't make it fact. I gave mine which doesn't make it fact either..just an opinion so really neither of us are wrong.

Jeez Manny.....I go away for awhile and you're all causing trouble again! :lol
Honestly I was stunned Romo made it. Im ok with it but still stunned. I guess getting hot at the right time is a good thing. I would have been ok with Vick making it too. I am a big fan of his.
Actually....Romo could have 4000 yards, 42 tds and no picks and be 16-0 and Manny would still say he sucks because he is a Cowboy! :lmao
(easy bro....just messin' with ya...BTW how are you doing?)
MannyIsGod
12-21-2006, 12:10 AM
I don't think Romo sucks. Quite the opposite. I hate him because he's good. But Vick just set the the single season record for rushing for by a QB and Romo has had a good HALF season. And to compare the passing numbers straight up is just ridiculous considering the talent level around Romo.
