They won't start reaping the benefits of this move until next summer, when the team is off the hook for Chris Webber's $22 million salary. The 76ers will have tremendous cap room in the summer of 2008, when Gilbert Arenas might consider opting out of his contract in Washington, and will be a major player in free agency.
