I loved that one Episode of the Simpsons where Gerald Ford moved next to Homer.
"Well Homer do you like Football and Nachos?" :lmao
Too bad he's dead.

Another Michigan Wolverine legend leaves us. I live in the city where he grew up. From what I can tell he was a good man, and it shown by having a ton of things named in his honor. ( I guess it sure as hell beats having everything named after the founders of Amway, but I digress). And as shitty as it was to see someone like Nixon go unpunished, I think what he did at the time was best for the country in the long run. He had a huge role in the major news events in the 60's and 70's. He was on the Warren Commission the investigated the assination of JFK as well.

Chevy Chase did a great impression of Gerald Ford.
Coincidently, I just watched the SNL Christmas show where Chevy was giving his fireside chat as Ford.
RIP, Mr President.
My first voting experience was voting for Ford over Carter when I was 18. I lost.:(

It is a sad day to me.
President Ford was the first and only Republican I voted for.
My first election by the way.
Back in 1976 I was A senior in high school.
I got to meet him and shake his hand.
he was just a "Guy that lived around the corner"
The only thing I did not agree with was when he was on the Warren commission on the Kennedy commission.
He was a good man. A good husband and a good father.
I was moved by his death!!
