THe last time these 2 teams played Boozer owned Tim on both ends of the court. Lets see how Tim does against him tonight.

Pick and roll defense already looks shitty, again.

MannyIsGod
12-28-2006, 08:15 PM
Duncan active on both ends of the court so far. Maybe his early season slumber was broken by the Bucks.

Mr.Bottomtooth
12-28-2006, 08:17 PM
Who started?

MannyIsGod
12-28-2006, 08:18 PM
Manu looks like Manu.

Boozer gets away with an offensive foul and instead DRAWS a foul. Would have been his 3rd.

Duncan just broke Okur down.

The ball was loose on the floor with 3 Spurs around it and FINALLY Horry dropped down and forced a jump ball.

Mr.Bottomtooth
12-28-2006, 08:19 PM
Who's on the IR?

MannyIsGod
12-28-2006, 08:19 PM
Horry sizes up a 3 and misses. Probabkly the least imppressive offensive possesion of the night.

MannyIsGod
12-28-2006, 08:20 PM

MannyIsGod
12-28-2006, 08:21 PM
Jazz still controlling the boards. Spurs look marginaly better on defense, but they dont' really have me impressed. The energy is better, mainly because Duncan seems to be playing harder.

Finley gives the ball to TD 4 feet from the bucket and TD spins and DUNKS. You can't stop a big man when he gets the ball that low. Nice play.

MannyIsGod
12-28-2006, 08:29 PM
Vaughn shows his lack of offense by missing from 3 feet after a nice TD pass.

TD picks up his second foul which is going to be a real blow to the Spurs. He's played very well early on but no one really else has. It'll be interesting to see who steps up when he's on the bench.

MannyIsGod

Yes but now when he comes back he needs to watch his fouls which hurts his aggressiveness.

The Spurs need to find some way to rebound while TD is out.

Another foul on the Spurs. Utah misses both FTs though.

MannyIsGod
12-28-2006, 08:34 PM
The Boozer/Oberto matchup is going to be tough. Oberto isn't strong enough to keep Boozer out of the lane. On the flip side, I believe he's crafty enough to take advantage of Boozer on the other end, especially given the foul situation.

VaSpursFan

MannyIsGod

Bonner is scrapping but he's getting pushed around a big down low. I think he's gotten the short end of the stick on a few foul calls, but hopefully he can get some more boards. I know he's trying though.

Bonner with a couple of dribbles and a pull up jumper thats good to end the quater.

Go Bonner, GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

That makes no fucking sense to me. We knew Elson was out, and that Oberto is fighting off the flu. Why would he not have an extra big in case Oberto couldn't have kept going? Did he plan on Horry playing 35 minutes, or Bonner playing center?

I got my hopes up thinking Butler was going to be able to play most of the 4th.

I was in attendance at the game tonight.

It was my first time being off of work during a Spurs game since I started working at the Terrace Club.
I felt a little in the wrong place at first, but I got over that pretty quickly. :)

My seat was awesome- section 101, row 7. Thanks TMTTRIO. :)
I went to the railing. I didn't get to see Gino and Timmy- ushers wouldn't let me down until six :( - but Matt Bonner gave me his autograph.

Over the course of the evening, I saw Yardley Bowen with Ojani whom smiled at me, Many Ginobili, and Amy Duncan with cute little Sydney.

Even better, I saw Kori, Spurs Chick, and T-Park at half time. :)

I really enjoyed watching the pkayers interact with each other both on and off the court. That is something I am usually too far away to see.

I was pleased to see the Spurs play more like themselves. I hope and expect the improvement trend to continue.
