This game was not lost because of him. A bad turnover and a great shot by Dirk thats all she wrote. Still I like the fact that we hung in there if we can get more out of Marion next time we be fine. Bell and Marion were off tonight.

Oh... I wasn't trying to claim that the Suns lost because of Amare. I was just playfully ribbing atxrocker.

Amare isn't as explosive as he was before the injury... but he sure still gives your Defense fits. Especially when he and Nash are on the floor together.

This is one thing, but there were SEVERAL haters before the season who predicted severe failure on Amare after his surgery, promising his demise and insinuating he would be another "grant hill" type player, I have failed to see this actually play out yet. It's funny that none seem to be around anymore.

He will get there eventually. Amare has the luxury that with this team he can save himself for the playoffs. I am sure he will step at up in April and hopefully in June. Still he was pretty dominant tonight.

Foul on Howard.... just kidding... haha

What a dunk, though...

I'm not being biased or a hater, but did anyone else think that Dirk's put-back dunk was weak? He seemed to get 3 inches off the ground and barely sneak it past the rim...

Grow the fuck up.

People expecting him to be 3/4's or even half the player he was prior to surgery were basing it on reality. While I was not one of these people....you cannot label them with them with 'hating'. You don't typically go under the knife and come back as good as you were. Especially for the procedure that he had to undertake.

To expect that someone may not be able to produce aswell as he did prior to surgery is not hating. It's guessing. It's hypothesizing. It's basing thoughts on what is considered at that time, common knowledge. Most 'experts' with inside information were saying that Amare was not doing well. No one knew what to expect from him, but many had opinions. If someone had a negative opinion, does that make them a hater?

Facts are that he started out ugly in summer league. He didn't appear to be any where near the player he was.

Other players with the same operation have not done well.

Any person with half a brain would expect a less than Amare, post surgery. To expect him to struggle to come back, and to play as he did the previous year, is not hating. It's common sense.

I didn't listen to all the details, but didn't they say how lucky he was to be at his age, and lack much arthritic build up. If I'm not mistaken, they also said he'd also have to undergo the same surgery in 2 to 3 years. How wil he be then?

Quit trying to call people haters when they simply wondered and questioned how Amare would be able to do after surgery.

Didn't we go through this already? Piston < Spurs summed it up well enough. He just forgot to mention that you're an idiot. Try paying attention every once in a while.
