Interesting in deed. Now, spill it. Who are they?

Only rookie QB's I can think of are Young, Leinart, Gradkowski and Cutler unless of course you're counting Rivers, Romo an the QB for Washington (can't recall his name).

I figure Young is player 2, but who is player 1? Romo? The QB from Washington?

I can't figure out #1, but #2 is VY.

Philip Rivers: 16 games, 3300+ yards, 62% passing, 22 TDs, 9 INTs
Vince Young: 15 games, 2200 yards, 52% passing, 12 TDs, 13 INTs

Jay Cutler: 5 games, 1000 yards, 59% passing, 9 TDs, 5 INTs

Players in red are true rookies.

I believe these are the only "rookie" quarterbacks this year of significance (more than three games). Who's #1?

#1's stats aren't from this year... just his rookie year.

Here is another hint. He was the 2nd to last true freshman QB to start a bowl game for UGA

Quincy Carter, but he's not in the NFL right now, so saying he is a playoff QB isn't correct. He's no longer with the Jets.

scott
01-01-2007, 01:51 PM
I was more referring to him taking Dallas to the playoffs in '03. Once a playoff QB, always a playoff QB baby!

I was going to say Carter upon your first mention of Georgia, but the whole "is a playoff QB" got me sidetracked...

Gues it depends on what your definition of "is" is... :)
