Green was what we thought he was....not a good coach.

If Green had anything to do with who the Cardinals have drafted the last three years, then they will miss him. His drafts have been VERY, VERY productive. Maybe one of the tops in all of football over the same period.

As for a coach, he never got enough out of the offense. His QB always seemed to underachieve, either because of scheme, inconsistant starts or inexperience.
Play poorly due to scheme, get yanked, then get benched next game, then in a few games are thrown back in and nothing better comes from it as the process just repeats.

Scheme = coach
Inconsistant starts = coach
Overall inexperience = coach

It was better this year, but still...

If the Cardinals are smart they will go talk to one guy in the Bears organization.

Ron Rivera.

Defensive cooridinator.

They get a good defense, then they are set next year.

That would be a good hire. He was mentioned last year in coaching rumors and will be again this year. That would be a good move by the Cards. Will they do it though, remains to be seen.

Why would Pete Carroll go to the Cardinals? His current team is better! :)

pete carrol has said a number of times that he is not interested in leaving USC for the cardinals.

That's a wise decision. He's one of those coaches that never fared well at the pro level anyway. I wouldn't expect that to change if he took any NFL coaching job.

Coaches always stick with what they say.

Sincerly,
Nick Saban. :lol

The Mora firing was not exactly unexpected, their record this year was not good and his big mouth got him in trouble, even though he was joking http://spurstalk.com/forums/images/smilies/smirolleyes.gif
His dad also said some things about Vick and that's Arthur's boy so they can't have that.http://spurstalk.com/forums/images/smilies/no.gif I swear he'd fire the whole coaching staff and the team if it would make Vick happy. Rumor is they might offer it to Mariucci but I don't see that happening.

right now, even USC would beat the Cardinals.
