Kids, but there are a few adult things hinted at. Very good visually.

I loved the movie...I can't understand why the reviews are mediocre. I think the story fits the whole superhero thing to a "T". I love the whole "we are super but still have everyday problems" theme.

btw Elastigirl makes me stretchy.

The Incredibles...I took my kids to see it yesterday and really, really enjoyed it. I think it appeals to all ages, provided you like *that* sort of thing. :)

Looked really good. Better effects than 1 and 2. Notice the title Revenge of the Sith? Return of the Jedi was originally titled "Revenge" too but was changed later. :nerd

Crazy, there were actually a lot of adults there without any children...and yes, they were enjoying it too. :lol

That's good... I don't think I could drag Ruth there with a 4by4. I'm hooked on anime, gotta record Inuyasha every night.

There's a lot of 'adult' humor in kids movies.

I know there was a few moments in Monsters, Inc. and Shrek 2 that went over my kids' heads that had me cracking up.

I'm going to see it in SA this weekend. Screw taking kids. I have no problem taking my 31 year old ass without kids. Hell, I even go to the movies ALONE sometimes! Oooooooh, it's taboo going alone. WGAF!!!!!!!!!!!!

I haul my 32 year old ass to the movies alone all of the time. The only time it's ever ackward is when the movie is particulary funny. :oops

There needs to be a club started. People who don't want to go to the movies alone. Just call a number and you can "carpool" with some one else. Or is that stranger than going alone?

CrazyOne

Actually, that sounds like a half-decent idea.. going to movies alone takes most of the fun out of it. My family was out of the country when the Hulk came out, so I took some of the guys I played basketball with to see it.

I just can't get into the incredibles for some reason.
Now Shrek 2, I'm finally going to watch it now that it is on DVD!
We haven't watched Shark Tales, Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc or any of the newer cartoon animated movies.

We haven't watched Shark Tales but Finding Nemo and Monsters Inc are very good too!!

Just go rent/watch the movies, Joe.. then you can decide for yourself!

i thought the incredibles was just okay. i liked the movie....and the acton sequences were real good....i think i would have liked more humor....but i really don't know what it was missing.....maybe it was the bad guy that was lacking.

overall not a bad flick....i got stuck in the 'c' auditorium and was screwed out of the damn starwars preview....maybe that's why i'm pissy. :cuss

I love Holly Hunter and I thought it was hilarious when she got in her suit and looked at her ass in the mirror and sighed.

I'm sure that went over most kids' heads!

One of my favorite kid videos was Wallace and Grommit. I didn't like Chicken Run too much, but Wallace and Grommit rule. I thought they were gonna make a movie of them.

I would go see Chicken Little, Incredibles 2 (you know there will be one), Starwars, the next Spiderman. I can't say I like Spongebob. Call me oldfashioned , but sponges are just not supposed to talk.

We've thought about setting it up a couple times. The closest we came was a Bad Boys II GTG, IIRC.
