Anyone know of any good real estate websites? I've looked on realtor.com, remax, etc. Any other good ones out there?

You're not in SA? I didn't realize I was supposed to keep a log of where every poster in the forum lives. My bad. If you want help, be a little more specific.

no, not that. It should've been obvious for me to check there, but :spin
That's like me asking in the Spurs forum "is there a place to shoot the shit with lesbians, midgets on donkeys and an abundance of old men hitting on barely legal girls?"
And then you respond, "have you tried The Club"?

Oh, sorry ... we just bought a house 3 months ago and I lived on that site for at least a year looking. They have a lot more than realtor.com.
They have a great search function, too ... you can look by zipcode, school district, subdivision, price range, etc ... good luck! :)
And if you're looking for brand new homes that usually aren't listed, there's a free service by New Homes America that can find you new inventory homes (or lots to build on) from all of the builders in San Antonio and they know all of the current builder incentives, too. They found us our home.

I've become lost in that arch zepeda site. I found a few 3-5 bedroom houses that are perfect. But damn, I might need a maid.

What area are you looking to buy a home in? Do you want a new or used home? Price range?

if you don't want to spend a year or more looking and countless hours reading hire a good Real Estate Agent. It won't cost you any extra, on the contrary you'll probably save a ton by doing so.
But again it has to be a good agent and not just 1 of the millions who just have a license.
I'm not a Real Estate agent so I have no vested interest in telling you that.

In the loop, New or within the 5 year old range.
I've figured I can afford anywhere from 150k to 300k, so I have ALOT of options.

I can't imagine trying to find a house right now... I think it's hard to find an apartment. HAHA. My boyfriend and I are trying to look for one. I've looked online and found a list of places I want to visit. BUT now we have to go look at the apartments, meet the staff, see floorplans etc.... and then come to an agreement.

We used www.sarealtywatch.com. It's like realtor.com--you can search a number of different ways, but it's added feature is it tells you if there is a contract pending or if it's still active. It seems pretty accurate that way. Good luck! :)
