How has he been defensively during this latest stretch? Has he rebounded aggressively? Do you expect him to get quality playing time tonight, in what Duncan calls a big game?

+/- gurus, what is his +/- ?

Bonner is good for 12 and 8 tonight. He'll be the first big off the bench, and quite possibly the first person off the bench. Bonner is going to wipe the glass clean against the Mavs.

In the last 10 games, Bonner's +/- is +29. That is better than Oberto, Barry, Horry, Vaughn and Beno.

According to 82games stats, the Spurs are damn good defensively with Bonner in the game. The only player who calculates better defensively is Vaughn.

Per minute, Bonner scores more than anyone on the team outside of the Big Three, scores FGs at the same rate as Manu and is tied with Barry on made threes per minute. And since December 1st, Bonner gets more rebounds per minute than anyone on the team ... including Duncan.

Just watching him tells me that he's playing better than Oberto ... and probably Horry, too. With his play since Elson has been out, I expect him to keep a spot in the rotation.

Now if he can stay with Dirk halfway decently, that'd be huge.

I expect Bonner to come out tonight like a bull in a china closet.

He knows this is a big game, hopefully he can control the energy.

If he can stay in front of Dirk, no fouls while guarding him, and knock down 4 treys, hell be ok.

Rebound the ball my opaque friend.

Who I expect at times to be out there with Parker, guarding Jason Terry.

I think he was brought in just for the mavericks, and their small two guards ways.
