I think so, if Parcells is back for sure, He's just needs to grow more, he got a bit cocky there I think down the stretch, this loss will ground him and he will build off it, I think you guys will be fine at QB, it's not like you guys are gonna toss Bledsoe back there.
I can't imagine any scenario where Bill Parcells is back next season.

Glenn isn't young. How many more years does he have left? He was on the verge of retirment before coming to the Cowboys, no?
I dunno how old Glenn is, I think he is younger then TO though, and he looks to have at least 3 more years in him, which is longer then what TO will, at least with TO gone, Romo wont have to worry about feeding him all the time.

I still have WOAI on downstairs and listening to them recap the game as if the Cowboys are going to win - talking about Gramatica's 50 yarder with such enthusiasm - makes me sick. Time to go change the channel.

I'm going to look at the brightside... at least we don't have to watch the cowboys get murdered by either the Bears or Saints next week
lol
Am I remembering right that Romo bobbled a hold in another recent game? This isn't the 1st time I saw him do it.
I only wish that, since he IS a QB, he'd been able to pick it up and find an open receiver, as if it were a trick play.
He DID make it to the 1 though, I believe, but he fucked up AGAIN and fumbled the ball AGAIN. 'scuse me while i bitchslap the boy.
It wasn't a fumble, either.

Why, he's a great coach, who else would you want in there? If the Giants lose tomorrow then Coughlin is gone, Raiders, Falcons, and Cards are all looking for new coaches, so who knows what you would end up with.

JB...I still think he makes it...at the very least he gets the 1st down.
Its weird but I am not really bummed after this. It was a hell of a game from both teams...better than I thought it would be. The Cowboys did make the playoffs this year after missing two years in a row and showed some talent during this season that can be built upon. Romo, while young and inexperienced, is still IMO a better option than Bledsoe, Witten is getting better as is Barber. DWare is a beast and the defense (which was better tonight than the last month) showed flashes of brilliance. Some changes will have to be made, but they were better than last year and there are 20 teams who would rather have a playoff loss, than no playoff appearance. To those fans who's teams are still alive, good luck, for those who's teams are done...make a space in the war room for me because the draft is coming and I love the draft.

ohh, so technically they turned it over on downs and all that crap w/ SEA picking the ball up and running w/ it was nothing? ohh that's right, when SEA snapped it on their next play, they were very near the goal line, not 20 yards out. i got it now. there was so much commotion at the time that i don't know what the actual events were considered.

That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. KG doesn't have multiple rings, and he's ALL skill.
Romo, I don't know, but I'm impressed, you haters can flame, but the way he went back out there and tried to redeem himself after that screw up, I was impressed.
What the hell other choice did he have!!?? Become the first pro football player to refuse to go in for the last play of the game so he could sit on the bench and cry over his choke of historical proportions? You give this guy way too much credit in this situation. If you were in his shoes, wouldn't you go back in and try for a miracle?

And sorry to kick you again, but your comment was also pretty senseless re. KG. KG may have all the skill AND heart in the world, but last I checked, basketball was a team game and no individual so great can alone carry a team to championships without at least a mediocre supporting cast, such as KG had when Spreewell and Cassell were in Minnesota. I think maybe that is why KG does not have multiple rings.

Seahawks are gonna get annihilated by the Bears. :lol
At least the Seahawks will get a shot at the Bears! And I wouldn't call the Bears a lock for anything, regardless of how good their defense is. They still have Rex Grossman at quarterback, which is worse than Tony Romo.
What's more, I haven't heard about any Soldier Field playoff mystique in, oh, over 20 years. So while you're just responding to the bombs being dropped on your team and are getting defensive, your comments aren't really holding ground.

I think Romo had a great season, all things considered. I am also not one to believe that he will not overcome this terrible error by next season. It happened, but it was clearly on him. Seriously, Grande. You are better than that. Most of the Cowboys fans posting in this thread are SPURS fans and hate the Mavs as much as anyone. You will find that the majority of Dallas natives quit on the Cowboys before the playoffs started. Check out Dirk_Nowitzki's post at the beginning of this thread for confirmation.
I love SA and the Spurs will always be my team, but does that mean that I can't root for an NFL team since my city doesn't have one? Or would you rather I have been an Oilers fan like you were for so many years? Did you give up on them because H-Town is a shithole, or because they might have shitty fans? Of course you didn't, so why would you expect Cowboys fans to do the same?!
I have been a Cowboys fan since I was a fetus and that is not going to change because of some asshole fans. EVERY team has asshole fans. You making fun of people for being LOYAL is beyond comprehension.

??? The personal judgment? I simply stated that its funny how the same Spurs fans buddy up with the same smack talking Mavs fans win it comes to the Cowboys. It was merely an observation, and I do not recall "making fun" of anyone. I think that you are a bit sensitive about the outcome of yesterday's game. My comment was more a statement in line with San Antonio's lack of a pro football franchise than the value of placing one's allegiance with a particular franchise.

You know, Manny - it does seem like I'm carrying TO's child with the way I defend him in here. I just hate idiocy like this...
That same TO lead the league in TDs - had the most yards by a Dallas WR since a guy named Irvin - and is a mismatch in any game, ever. This 'cancerous nightmare' that you speak of have about three drops more than Torry Holt and Steve Smith - both of who are considered pretty decent WRs.
You hate him. We get it. So say "Get rid of TO - I don't like him." But don't put it under the guise of 'he sucks' when he's the best Dallas WR to suit up in the past decade.

Before I begin (and yes, I know the argument will be that Dallas has four pro sports teams and San Antonio one, but hear me out), five fans greeted the team last night. Five.
Anyways, the morning after and just some brief thoughts from me about the end of this season and the beginning of next.
1. Without Tony Romo playing like a NFL quarterback, there is no playoff game blog this season, so props to him.
2. An off-season as the perceived starter and the way the season ended should send Romo into the break with a renewed drive to become better and not have disappointment this time next year.
3. I like Mike Zimmer for the most part, but he's not Parcells' guy. I think it's time Mike Zimmer explore other opportunities. The pass coverage is non-existant (and there's no damned reason DeMarcus Ware should have been in pass coverage). The pass rush (save for Ware) is non-existant. Ware's impact will only become greater when the other side can get a push.
4. I don't think Parcells can leave without giving it one more try with Romo the likely starter at the beginning of the season.

My throat was raw, my voice was gone, I lost all feeling in my feet from both the cold and standing, stomping and jumping up and down the entire game. Almost 24 hours later I still haven't recovered. Without a doubt, it was worth it.
u guys got a tough matchup next game

That's funny, and I don't care WHO you are!

Meh, the way things have been going, if Romo had gotten the snap down, Gramatica would have hit the upright. Or he would have made it and then the Cowboys would have allowed the Seahawks to drive the length of the field and hit a game-winner as time expired.

All I have to say about this game is.. Seattle didn't win, Dallas beat themselves.
Seattle fans may disagree, but oh well, the result is the same. Dallas is done!
David Chancellor and Don Harris were whining like little girls last night about the review of the spot. :clap

The review of the spot was correct. Look at the ball in relation to his feet and you can tell he never got it past the first down mark.
If Romo fully extends the ball when he gets tackled, he may get the first. Thats how close that play was.
