Earth to Mavs fan - a 9 point lead ain't that great when you had a 19 point lead only a few minutes ago. It means something isn't happening the court for you and should be addressed - poor defense/rebounding, bad shot selection, poor ball handling, whatever.

Gaining a 9 point lead, maintaining one is great. Dropping to one from a bigger one is trouble and has seriously plagued the Spurs this season.

So many people forget what the Spurs used to play like when Duncan got his MVP stats. Play good D, bring it up court and play the half court inside/out game with Timmy for 40 min a night. Timmy got his big numbers but they were a far worse, less versatile team.
