I think she's anorexic. Her arms are too veiny not to be. My s-i-l's arms look like that and she's definitely anorexic, although she denies it.

I read an interview where she said she's had a hard time maintinaing her weight since she weaned Shiloh. that pic totally proves it.

Note that her face and jawline (aka, her business card) look normal, not at all like a sepulchral skull or a hollowed out like a female body builder's face.

If she were carrying enough fat to hide her forearm veins, she'd probably be too plump in the face/neck.

"too skinny" is of course subjective.

I bet her diet and health is vastly superior to 95% of the USA, where overweight and obesity is average and seen as "normal".

I wouldn't doubt that she eats her fruits and vegis, but that's it. As opossed to the McDonalds, Burger King, Subway, etc. that seems to be so convient to the people that are more obese or overweight.

Subway, Quizno's, Schlotzsky's are fast-food franchises that really don't categorize with the grease joints.

I see that the market for deli sandwiches is forcing MacDo, etc to offer them.

Panda Express is another healthy fast-food place.

I looked at the calorie count of one of those deli sandwiches from mcdonalds and it was twice the amount of making a sandwich at home. (I couldn't find it on the website, it was a special item at the time) I won't argue the convience, but that's part of why people get fat. And that wasn't the topic. The topic was about Angelina Jolie being "vein-y."

She's always been thin, but I think she's exceptionally thin now. Like I said, my s-i-l looks like that and it's not pretty in person.

I think it's gross, but to each their own.

ETA...this is not meant to turn into a fat vs. thin debate.

I thought I had read in the past that she has always been vein-y because she has hypoglycemia or anemia or something like that. And that (plus her low body fat) makes her look that way. I read that it became so bad when she was pregnant (when she was fainting all all that) that she had to be hospitalized but the doctor said her veins weren't going to explode or anything :lol I can't find where I read that. Maybe it was offline.

Strange she says she's had trouble maintaining her weight since she weaned her baby. Breast feeding causes you to burn more calories, so you'd think she'd gain weight after weaning, not lose more. I remember gaining 10-12 pounds in the month after I quit breast feeding and attributed it directly to that.

I used to know this girl who was naturally veiny. She had a body builder physique, but had a very fat face. She just had no body fat on her legs or arms. Anyway, she was able to maintain this look without hardly workding out. Her legs were so veiny that all of us at the gym thought that if she cut herself shaving, she'd bleed to death! :lol

a friend of mine is nursing twins- i think it;s like 1300 calories a day! cha-ching!

back to angelina.... maybe if she wasn;t traveling all the tiem she would take better care of herself. If it is anemia - it;s manageable.

two things:

1. Jolie is not too skinny

2. girls, in general, are judgmental and stupid when it comes to other "pretty" girls that are not their friends...shit even friends sometimes

3. i never cared for jolie...she's OK, but that has nothing to do with her size. in fact, to me, its not about size....its always about shape
