More importantly, what does this mean for the future of the NFL, and will Ricky Williams smoke himself to death while in Europe?

Is this a regular season game?

No. It's preseason.

They're just going back to having preseason games in London again like they did back in the '80's.

As for Rickey rejoining the Dolphins, he'll get another chance unless he screws it up again before July.

Depends on who the new coach is and will he put up with that shit.
Hopefully not. I am content with Ronnie Brown.

Report: Giants to face Dolphins in LondonJanuary 12, 2007

NEW YORK (Ticker) - The NFL apparently is ready to hold its first regular-season game across the pond.

The New York Giants (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/nyg/) are expected to face the Miami Dolphins (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/mia/) at London's Wembley Stadium next season, the New York Daily News reported on its web site Friday. According to the report, the NFL is expected to make the announcement in the next few weeks.

The report also said there is a chance the Buffalo Bills (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/buf/) could be the visiting team instead of the Giants. However, sponsors of the game in England have been pushing for the Giants for more than a year.

The game would take a home game away from the Dolphins, who were to host the Giants on next season's schedule.

Every team is expected to play at least one game outside the United States during the next 16 years. In 2005, the Arizona Cardinals (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/ari/) and San Francisco 49ers (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/sfo/) played the first regular-season game outside of the U.S., when they met in Mexico City, Mexico. The game drew a record NFL regular-season crowd of 103,467. In 1986, the NFL ventured overseas for a preseason game for the first time, when the Chicago Bears (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/chi/) faced the Dallas Cowboys (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/dal/) at Wembley Stadium before a crowd of 86,000.

You know, if Williams had any brain cells left, he would go play for the Amsterdam Admirals in the Europe league.
