It's more than just a lack of interest...his show has an unenviable time slot at 11pm EST (I think that's correct). Most people who are up at that time, and want to watch something related to sports, watch SportsCenter. I really don't care since I have never watched the show and he annoys the pubes off my scrotum, so whatever.

It was actually a good show with great interviews. He got all the top-notch athletes and he's not that obnoxious in the interview format as he is when he's just spouting "opinions". The timeslot sucked though.

I hope they replace it with something that gets equal quality interviewees.

Maybe they'll give a sports interview show to Rosie O'Donnell.

Maybe that homo Skip Bayless will get a show with his annoying ass girly voice and feminine mannerisms. God I hate Skip Bayless

honestly.. i've never liked Steven A. Smith much, I know he's sucks kobe's cock and has bashed other teams in the west.. namely SAS.

But I found his show particularly hard to watch due to the way he tried to get his "ghetto-speak" on.

I'm sorry but his show blew chunks.

Wait, are we talking about Stuart Scott now?

IMHO, his show was very entertaining and went places other shows would not. Quite frankly, I enjoyed it.

Stephen A. Smith, Scoop Jackson, Skip Bayless, Stu Scott, Woody Paige and Jay Mariotti all need to be taken out back and shot. They are worthless and they dragdown what good journalism is with their "I've made it big with this persona, so if you don't like it, don't watch/read" attitudes. I'm glad the ESPN network is starting to take notice that the majority of people don't.

Each is very ignorant to facts and spew opinions as if they are as good as gold. Well, maybe not Stuart Scott, but trying to watch a sportscenter highlight with him is like getting a root canal for the ears; excruciating.

I'd watch ESPNnews over SportsCenter any day right now. Same info (well, maybe better info) and you get it in a news format that you can watch, not a MTV format that's more style than substance. Problem with the latter is for everyone mentioned above, their style sucks donkey ass...

It wasn't a bad show.

What I liked best is that is kept him off most of the ESPN NBA broadcasts. I'd sooner have him corraled in his little show than spewing his mouth on NBA halftime and post game shows.

I actually watch those.

Nah... I'm not partial to the "race card" being invoked at every point of a debate or conversation. He's got some good hoops takes, but he lets his disdain for other races get in the way. He's a schmuckPERIOD
