There was a bad payout on the Ohio State/Florida game and too many people were affected. They attempted to right things, but manually would have been a bitch to subtract from those who shouldn't have won, then add to those who should have for the proper amounts and nothing was working out automatically. After doing something that caused mosts vbucks to skyrocket into the 180594095049504559 range, they decided the problem would be easier solved by resetting everyone's totals.
Is this pretty accurate? That's at least what I gathered...

I enjoyed having several bajillion dollars, even if they were vBookie, and even if they were temporary. I felt like buying a basketball team and criticizing someone's river as being too dirty.

This is how people must have felt in 1929.

We're all on the same level now bitches.
While all you V-Billionaires were working to increase your fortunes I was collecting my V-unemployment checks and blowing it all on V-Maddog and V-Lapdances. Other than some unexpected V-D (that a little shot of V-antibiotics took care of for those of you keeping score), I had a great time and didn't work a V-lick.
Now we're all in the same V-Boat. You former V-Billionaires are licking your wounds, but I'm exactly where I started. Power to the common V-man!
Suckers.

Close, but not really.
But I don't get why people message me (at least 20 people a day) and start threads every frickin day about this when there's an announcement at the top of each forum that's been there since it happened.

Brilliant. People would probably pay.

I understand why some people like it and the competitiveness of trying to win, even though it's fake. I just don't like re-explaining it:lol Thus the announcement.

Damn it I wasn't doing too bad either...
And I did look for an announcement thread because I expected Kori to have posted one like she always does but for some reason I looked passed it and was too retarded to find it.
