How do you transfer stuff you downloaded from limewire to your ipod? I'm clueless, i just started using it.

Yeah it came up on Itunes but when I click to drag it, it won't drag into my ipod.

Once in a while, I get a few songs that won't transfer over. I don't know why. My guess is that they were songs that were bought from Itunes or whatever and converted to mp3. I'm sure that's not the reason why, though.

Mother FUCKER. I figured out how to put it in my library, but when I tried to put it on my ipod, it said it won't play on my ipod. It took me hours to download it. Wrong format I guess.

Are you trying to put a wmv, wma, mpg, or avi files on? An ipod won't play them.

I hardly ever use it anymore. Torrents are where it's at.

Find the file and import it. Sync it. It should be there. I only use Ares for my ipod. I don't see ho limewire would be any different.

The only thing you have to do is right click and convert your selection to whatever the ipod file is. I converted all my wmas and crap to ipod format right after christmas.

That's the reason I asked my question. A lot of the earlier file sharing clients also only let you get a file from one person. That's also how they tracked people down. They'd find a user, and search what files they had available. With BT, that's virtually impossible. You get little fragments from multiple users, and you're already sharing before your download is complete.

Bit Torrent, baby!!! Limewire is so 2000. Download utorrent at utorrent.com then go to torrentspy.com or demonoid.com and have fun. demonoid.com has no junk files, but you have to be invited or signup if they allow you to. It sounds messed up, but I've found nothing, but gold on demonoid.com.

I absolutely LOVE iTunes. I don't know the answer to the question td asked, but I really love the interface and functionality of it, even if you don't buy songs off of it, just the library and everything all in one place.

I downloaded uTorrent and I'm learning how to use it, unfortunately when I tried to use demonoid it said that I have to wait to register till next Friday or something. Hopefully I can get there soon I'm anxious to see how it works
