Said it before... I'm not panicking until we either don't make a trade or we make a trade and continue to suck. We can't win with this bench.

True.
But the spurs typically dont play well around this time.
They dont play their best until the rodeo road trip.
So I beg you guys to not hit the panic button yet.
Though, its obvious something has to be changed.

I just can't believe the Spurs could be this fucked right now. :oops 2 losses to LeBron, 2 losses to Kobe.

well, Stern & Stu you got what you wanted. That WARNING on Bowen changed his game a little bit. Bravo and advance congratulations to the Lakers vs Lakers in the finals.

i have always had faith in the Spurs. This season it's different. They're just giving away lots of games that they could have won. and the deficiencies have been quite obvious but nothing has been done to correct them.

i'm beginning to think that our defensive scheme needs to be changed since the league now favors perimeter players. and i'm beginning to think that the bruce bowen's of the world may be obsolete. you now need 4 solid scoring options on the court like the mavs, phoenix, etc.

I wouldn't say that at all. D'Antoni is wearing his starters out. Also, Phoenix's style kills the average and worse teams but against the best? It doesn't hold up. For example

Suns 1-6 vs Mavs, Lakers, Utah, Detroit, and Spurs.

Lakers 5-3 vs Mavs, Suns, Utah, Detroit, and Spurs.

We are the Pats of the nba arent we?
Nobody is expecting to win anything.

i'd like to say "don't worry we'll start the winning streak again after the All-Star" but that's probably what the whole league's planning right now :lmao

hey can we just tank this one season and compete with Memphis or Philly for Oden? :lol

Apples to oranges. Football is a one and done thing in the playoffs. The Pats happen to be very opportunistic and could win a Super Bowl despite not necessarily being the best team all year.

In the NBA, the better team wins the 7 game series 95% of the time. The Spurs are not the best team in the NBA.

DubMcDub and myself are not saying they are the best team right now , but that anything can happen comes april ; hey, remember 1999, Knicks were this close to miss the playoffs ; heck, they beat the supposedly better Pacers in the East Finals without Ewing

You must have missed the part where I wrote "95%". I understand though, selective reading is quite prevelant here.

I am in no way saying it's impossible that the Spurs could win the NBA title. I'm saying comparing them to a team in a different sport that works completely differently is stupid.

I can't give up on a team that still has this much talent and championship experience. It is a rough time right now and maybe a long road trip is needed. It could be a lot worse, we could be Hawks fans!
